i had purchase a new nokia 1650 last month.a day before i dont know what happen my frnd was doing sommething with the mobile now when a call comes the tone does not ring & it also does not vibrate .when i go to the tone setting to set a tone the mobile gets off & again gets on.plz help me with it.and the other function are ok .

Itseems that the firmware has been damaged ..
first try giving restore factory settings ..
if you still persist the problem then you need to upgrade the firmware ..
it can be done if you just have the normal data cable of the handset if it supports ...
if it doesnot support the data cable then you need to take the cell to the technician and get it flashed as this can only be done by DKU resetter cable ...
If your handset is compatible for the data cable then you can download the nokia software updater and then you proceed to the firmware updation

follow the instruction in that after running the program if you are doing it by yourself (or if your handset supports the data cable)
By giving restore factory settings 99% it will solve the problem
