I have an Asko W640 which I've just recently purchased. I transported it in my car, on its side which maybe why it is not functioning upon the spin cycle? Used the machine for the first time today and upon reaching the spin cycle it vibrates Violently upon which I have to switch it off. Looking at the machine, the internal bit looks askew. Is there some sort of strut or internal rubbers holding the internal bowl part that has come apart while in transport on its side? if so, how do I fix it? I love the machine, it has so many good features. Many thanks.

- sorry, I got this machine secondhand. I saw it spinning well and evenly before loading it into my car on its left side. I assume it had its shipping bolts taken out when it was first bought eons ago?
I wish I had got it transported upright by a moving company now. I forgot how tempremental these things are.

- thank you very much bbrign, I shall have a go at it. Being a girl, I didn't think about taking the back off it. But I bet you knew that already. ;)
- the tub sits on suspension rods. it"s more than likely that when you laid it on its side it slipped off of one of the retainers, I assume that this is the front loader model?

- Sorry, missed the model number in your earlier posting. This unit sits on struts. kind of like shock absorbers. It is very likely that when the unit was transported it slipped off of one or more of its struts. You should be able to access them by removing the rear panel. At that point you should be able to see the struts and slip them back into their sleeves.

My ASKO W640 leaves black streak marks on sheets and some clothes - they must be getting caught in the black rubber door seal - is there a way to replace this seal with one that will not stain?

My asko w640 front loader starts the cycle and then stops after the wash cycle and advises water inlet fault.. When the washing machine first starts you can hear the machine start and then it takes about 5 secs before the water enters the machine. We have checked the inlet hose and all seems clear..?
