Question about KitchenAid Superba Architect KSCS25INSS Side by Side Refrigerator
We had the same problem. Our fridge was beeping and the lights would not come on. To stop the beeping and turn the lights back on we had to press the OVER TEMPERATURE RESET button. As soon as we did this, the lights came back on and beeping stopped. Hope this helps.

Same exact problem here with my KSCS25INSS side by side. After 10 minutes the three beeps, open the door and all the lights are off, including the display lights. The manual states "The interior lights will turn off if either compartment door is open for more than 10 minutes. Simply close and open the door to turn on the interior lights." OK, so when I give the door a good firm shut, it usually resets back to normal, for another 10 minutes, then back to the same problem. Closer inspection of the refrigerator door shows that it is slightly lower than the freezer door. Maybe the seal is not good enough because it is sitting low and the refrigerator senses that the door is open. So, I raised the door a bit with adjusting bolt at the bottom right of the door. No more beeping, problem solved. Try this first before calling a technician.

We had the same problem and discovered that the fridge side door was knocked by the movers and consequently the door was not shutting the light off. We only saw it because all the lights were out and we could see light escaping through the imperfect seal that was also a result. I loosened the bolts, moved the door slightly so it engaged the shut-off and now no beeps.

Found this on another sight:
A Lady in Kitchen Aid has been a great help, I have sent a letter about her help in several matters involving Kitchen Aid Products to her boss, I have put in all Kitchen Aid Products in my remodeled kitchen. Her name is Angel (Believe me she is one) 1-800-446-2574 Ex-7926.
Your problem is the water filter, check and make sure it is installed properly, also check inside the refer on the countdown on your filter and see where it is. If you are not sure the filter is install properly, remove it and push it in until it clicks. If this does not take care of your problem Angel will help you get a solution.

I have the same problem with kitchenaid model#kscs23inss. I just purchased less then a month ago(sept.12).It beeps every couple min. i open the fridge it is dark no sensor lights. I close the fridge ans open right back. the light comes back on and sensor is on. I called kitchen aid. because it is under warranty. they don't know why it is doing it. so are going to send the repair person to check it. I wanted to find out if it is normal beeping. I didn't find beeping anywhere in the manual.

I have had this issue on similar whirlpool models with electronic controls and it has been the main computer (located in the unit compartment next to the compressor) every time
