Problems with machine resetting itself

-   We have a new Zanussi washing machine. The cycle starts normally with time etc showing countdown during wash. However, after 15 mins or so, it resets itself back to beginning. The start/pause button flashes repeatedly but when you press this it does not restart. I had to forward cycle onto drain to empty machine. The drain would only empty for 2-3 seconds then had to repeat drain mode. Does anyone have any ideas to suggest. Thanks-   LittleNoel
