Re: My Creative Zen V

Usually it takes about 6hrs for it to fully charge, if it still does not work after this, check to see if it is in lock mode. hope this helps :)

about the a-z thing, i dunno.

about the deleting part, it depends where you're deleting it from.

if you listen to it in play all and delte it from ther, it wont work. you have to find it in the shuffle mode (very annoying, i know) and delete it there. good luck.

I have a Creative Zen V 1gb, when I put songs on it with Windows Media Player, and unplug it afterwards, and when i want to start listening the songs on my MP3, it doesnt show any tracks! while WMP says...

Try updating your firmware, because "default" firmwares have problems sometimes with WMP Sync features that also adds a DRM code to each transfered track.

If not, make sure you use standard .mp3 extensions for your songs, because on basic settings WMP converts your audio files to .wma when you transfer it to an mp3 player

Cant get videos on my Creative Zen Mozaic 4gb

The videos have to be converted using Creative Centrale in order to placed on the player. This was the same way with a lot of Creative's Zen line of players also.
If you don't have the copy that the Mosaic came with, you can download it here.

It is under the "Applications" section.

Creative zen mosaic is not being detected by either my laptop or PC.....a few weeks ago it was perfectly fine! Please help

This happened to me too! I found a very helpful thread online If the advice I'm about to give doesn't work, visit that link. I am running Windows Vista. I went to Control Panel>System and Maintainence>Device Manager>View hardware and devices>Portable Devices. When I did this I saw Creative Zen Mosaic listen with an !. I right clicked, uninstalled, and unplugged my Mosaic. I then plugged it back in and my computer automatically started in re-install. You may have to do it manually by clicking on a baloon that pops up when new device is inserted or something of that nature but this is what worked for me.

I/O error in creative zen mp3

Hi! I think you should try this (i've already tried it and it works):
1- Unplug your Zen from your Computer.
2-Turn off your Zen (if you can't do it, press the "Reboot" button)
3- BEFORE turning on your Zen, press your "Play" button and hold it while you turn on.
4-When a format menu appears, select the "Format All" option (you'll loose all your Zen data).
5-When the format menu reapears, select the "Reboot" option and listo! You have your Zen as new and should not have problem. Good luck!

Can't upload voice recording from creative zen

So I had that same issue but then i found the solution while playing with it. if you connect your zen to the computer, open up my computer and find the zen icon. click on it and go until you find the "my recordings" folder. click the folder and you should see all your recordings. right click the one you want to copy and click "copy". then open a folder in your computer and click "paste" and it works!

Zen wont work on battery

The battery is bad or the charging circuit is flaking out. Try plugging it in and from the wall side of the charger, unplug and plug it in several times. Sometimes on the Zen players that will shock it back into charging. I have seen that same charging issue on several models of Creative players.

Creative Zen V does not boot.

You can take it apart and unplug and replug in the battery. this will void any warranty. BE SURE YOU DONT LET THE SCREEN DISCONNECT FROM THE PLAYER. Mine did and i can't get it hooked up and have damaged it in the process. Darn thing works/charges/everyhting though. Just no screen...
