My tv is stuck in HDMI mode. Every time I hit the source button, it no longer shows my different video sources (composite, analog, etc.). I can only play my Playstation 3 on it now. I cannot switch to cable mode to watch tv.
Some TV's disable inputs if there is no signal. I suggest confirming cables are connected properly, and accessing the system menu, and perform an autoscan for channels

You will need to disconnect the HDMI cables from the device sources and from your TV and then reconnect making sure that the connection is fully secure enough.Try using another HDMI cable.Connect your device sources to a different port for HDMI then, change the TV's input to match the port that is used.
You may have the wrong input source selected. There are a number of different source connections on the back of today's TV sets. Using the remote's SOURCE button, cycle through the different inputs until you find the one that your input device is attached to. It is common for users to inadvertently cycle off the correct input when pushing remote buttons.
What's the source of the signal for the LN-R328W. The mode not supported message shows up when the source signal is not compatible with the TV. For example: if the source is a computer, use a different monitor to make sure that the refresh rate is 60Hz. Next, turn on the TV and set it to the VGA source before you turn on the computer. (Most modern computers will then see the TV as a monitor and set the correct resolution.) Note: this TV can't support an HDMI signal from a computer. (The signal is different than that for a Blu-ray player or HD set-top box.) For game stations, you may need to check the manual for the box to set the resolution for your TV.
unplug it for about 30 mins it will reset it. if that doesnt work it will be stuck in standby mode until a video source is activated. if you are using hdmi both the tv and the hdmi device must be on. (hdcp compliant devices must be turned on at the same time otherwise it will say stuck in stand by mode they do this to prevent people from trying to rip content off hdmi and blu rays had the same issue with my tv and xbox.
Silly suggestion, but did you hit the "Source" button again a few times?
According to the manual, the "Source" button changes between the following long list of options: Tuner, Composite, S-Video, Component, HDMI, VGA, and VGA component. So you'll have to hit it 6 more times to come back to what you were using.
Olevia went out of business in 2008, so their website is defunct. Here is a link to what I believe is your manual on another website.
My configuration: ZONE 1 (living room) DishNetwork Dual Tuner DVR Tuner 1 [S-Video out] -> [S-Video in] ONKYO TX-SR875 [HDMI out] -> [HDMI in] Sony KDS-60A3000 rear projection TV
ZONE 2 (living room) DishNetwork Dual Tuner DVR Tuner 2 [Composite Video out] -> [Composite Video in] ONKYO TX-SR875 [Composite Video out] -> [Composite Video in] Samsung AQUOS LCD TV
Problem: ONKYO receiver stops sending video signal to my ZONE 1 Sony TV through the HDMI connection. ZONE 2 may still receive video. (NOTE: the issue might be related to the upconverter circuitry?)
Symptom: I couldn't see any video, but I could hear the Tuner 1 audio through my ONKYO. An important clue is that I couldn't see ONKYO's on-screen display menu on my TV when hitting the [Setup] button on my remote. But, I could see my TV's Sony-based menus and display options.
Solution: 1. Put all ZONES in Standby mode using the remote. Hit these buttons on remote: [Receiver], then [Standby]. [Receiver], [ZONE2], then [Standby], [Receiver], [ZONE3], then [Standby]. You should NOT see any lights on the ONKYO except maybe one red led near the power button. 2. Pull the power plug out of the back of the ONKYO, and leave unplugged for 20-30 seconds. Turning off any power center it is connected to isn't enough. You MUST unplug the power from the back of the ONKYO for 20-30 seconds. 3. Reconnect the power cord to the ONKYO. 4. Using the remote, set ZONE1 to a video source known to be working. If you don't see video, try leaving the power cord off for a longer period.
I know it sounds too simple to work, but that's what brought the video back for me the few times the video stopped displaying. Hope it works for you.
