Question about Sharp Actius GP22W Notebook
Computer laptop wont come on green light on but nothing on the screen. laptop has not been used in over a year or turned on because i misplaced power cord and i finally found it when we moved. Could a dead cmos battery possibly be the culprit.? Help....
Hi, Even if it's got one but dead cmos battery, the laptop should powerup and the worst is it will display an un-configured CMOS/BIOS. Chances are that it is something else. Try charging the laptop overnight and see if it powers up by then. You may also want to try checking on the memories, battery connectors. Post back how things turned up that we can figure other things out. Good luck and kind regards.
