Question about Maytag MFI2568AES Stainless Steel Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator

Maytag MFI2568AES Stainless Steel Bottom

No ice cubes with my one year old french-door Maytag #MF12568AE Refrigerator . I have confirmed the water supply and pressure, but am unable to remove the dispenser unit itself to check further. I'm afraid to pull any harder for fear of breaking something expensive! Is there a fastener securing this unit? All I see is a plastic cog on a white flexible tab coming out of the left side. Thanks for your kind help.

I have the same problem, no ice... water is fine. Have removed tray and replace, still not making ice. Any suggestions on what to check or fix?

    Thanks, Kathy

Perhaps there is ice holding it in because that tab is all that holds it.

Sounds like the thermostat inside the ice maker that allows the heater to come on during harvest cycle is bad. You will need to replace the ice maker.

Maytag refrigerator stainless steel french door bottom freezer...lights flashing and ice maker opening and closing/making sound

Im thinking maybe a power surge was felt by the refrigerator.

Try unplugging from wall for a couple minutes and then plugging it in again.

Our frig ice cube door chute keeps slaming and the lights are going crazy on the push button board. model MFI2568AES SER 10967637JR

Your control board is bad. Unplug refrigerator and replace it, follow instructions on board to reprogram and you should be good. It's on the back outside of refrigerator under panel. Or, call a repairman to do it for 400.00 plus. Hope this helps,

Low water pressure will cause this symptom. Make sure you have a minimum of 35 pounds pressure supplying the refrigerator with water.

Not getting ice

sounds as if the icemaker is getting too much water and causing the unit to flood out. aside from replacing the icemaker you may be able to adj the amount of water going into the icemaker. there is a screw that holds the front cover of the icemaker inplace. remove the cover and you should see a screw  with a + and - sign on it. try turning the screw 1/4 turn then wait for the icemaker to cycle and see if it improves. keep making theses adjustments until your problem is solved thx peyton
