Question about Televison & Video
Hi there, I have a 60" Sony 3LCD rear projection HDTV. Recently I've been noticing a blue-ish tinge especially in the center of the screen. Another symptom is it appears to be displaying a ghosted image of high contrast objects in blue over the top of whatever else is being displayed. It almost looks like burn-in, but it changes based on what's on the screen. Now and then I also get a large blob-like area of blue on the left of the screen. I've had it for about 2 years and used it pretty hard, so I'm wondering if replacing the lamp will fix this problem, or whether it is something worse? Thanks
The model number you posted seems wrong..in the last year or so sony has had problems with the optical blocks, and on some of them they have extended the warranty time..i would need the correct model number and serial number,,
