LG DAT-250
We have an LG DAT-250 DVD Home Theatre with Digital Receiver and the TC component has stopped working. I can access all other areas of eg: video, dvd and radio but none of the buttons will work when in TV mode. Is there anyway to reset the system or is this a repair shop case? Thanks

- It is not my TV but the actual set top box/ dvd player and yup I am geting a grey screen and stuck on channel 2. Will give what youhave written a go and see if it works for me then I will steer clear of channel 2 and contact LG as this is not good enough. Thanks for all the helpSep 30, 2007

- sorry forgot to sign in. this was the solution posted but it was for a tv so not sure if it will on dvd player. TURN OFF THE MAINS POWER AT THE WALLUNPLUG ANTENNA FROM THE BACK
TURN POWER BACK ON AT THE WALL & START AS NORMAL
IT WILL COME UP WITH "POOR SIGNAL"
THEN WE FLICKED THROUGH THE CHANNELS & TURNED IT OFF AGAIN AT COMPONENT & AT THE WALL
PLUG THE ANTENNA BACK IN
TURN EVERYTHING BACK ON

FIXED! INSTRUCTIONS:
TURN OFF THE MAINS POWER AT THE WALL
UNPLUG ANTENNA FROM THE BACK
TURN POWER BACK ON AT THE WALL & START AS NORMAL
IT WILL COME UP WITH "POOR SIGNAL"
THEN WE FLICKED THROUGH THE CHANNELS & TURNED IT OFF AGAIN AT COMPONENT & AT THE WALL
PLUG THE ANTENNA BACK IN
TURN EVERYTHING BACK ON
ALL GOOD. FOUND IT HERE, INTERESTING READ.

Solution #5 works, but the problem appears to be ABC. Anytime you flick to ABC the screen goes grey and the receiver locks up. Go through the process again and it's fine. I have deleted all ABC/ABC2 channels and it works fine. So ABC has changed something and the LG receiver doesn't like it, as of today.
