Re: philips pc camera SIC4750/27

Hello everyone I just got this product and had video but not audio. I GOT IT I think that’s the best solution ever. Go to control panelà Volume controlà properties check the microphone box for both playback and recording
Go to C:\Program Files\NetMeeting and run the conf.exe install it and it’ll pop up an option that test’s you microphone and sound . That’s when I realized that my microphone was working . After you finish the installation run net meeting and go to tools audio tuning wizard do the same.
Finally go to the Philips camera window AMCAP and record your video remember the “capture audio”,, you’ll see it works

It's a common mistake to connect almost any USB device before the software/driver.. If you have done this, you need to disconnect the usb cable, un-install the software, boot the pc, then re-install the software. There might be a spot in the installation process where it asks you to connect the webcam.. Do it then, not before. If it does not ask you to plug the cable in, do it after you have booted the pc. The un-install software is usually bundled with the install, on the same CD.. If not, you might have to download it from the vendors website, or use the windows un-installer. Rgds, dave

Phillips webcam model SIC 4750/27

I also have lost my CD for the Phillips SIC4750/27 we cam. I had my Windows Vista do a search for new harware, it found my cam and indentified it as a Sunplus EZcam III, and my computor installed the driver for it: ver. last updated 08/22/2002, and the camera seems to be working fine with this driver.

It will not install or download to install

hello, try to install the software before connecting the hardware. This looks to be an USB camera. These types of cameras usually require that the software be installed prior to the hardware being installed.
