I've had my genius g-pen4500 for maybe two weeks now. and my computer no longer recognizes the USB device. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program multiple times, I've even restored my system to when I didn't install itunes. To no avail. I've been really careful with my tablet, I haven't dropped it and it remains on my table when not in use. help?!
do not buy a new one... the problem is not a cheap usb cable. open the back part of the tablet and carefully remove the small plastic rings securing the plastic grid that should be inside, on the topmost part of the grid there should be some lines, clean them with a tissue or toilet paper and do the same for the ones on the circuit board (be sure to do it in the same direction as the lines) and put it all back together making sure the siny part of the plastic grid is facing you and that should fix it.
It's a problem with the cord. Mine was like that and I found out that, when pulled taut/stretched, it was recognized. This means that the tablet has a REALLY cheap USB cord, and probably has a break in it. If I wouldn't have reconnected my cord incorrectly after replacing it, and burnt out the chip, mine would recognize fine now. Time to buy a new one, I suppose....

My Genius 8X6 Tablet Pen does not give off any sensitivity.. it is very annoying because I am an artist and I really need sensitivity. It used to work but it stopped about 1-2 weeks after I bought it. Help? p.s. The green light does not flash on the tablet and my computer did not recognize it as a tablet, but a mouse. Very annoying.
