Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Make 1 good razr out of two broken ones

One Razr (silver) got soaked the display works and everything else but it gets extremely hot and won't send of receive calls\text. I have another razr (black) the display went bad when the display ribbon cable failed. Thought I could swap the guts from the black to the silver. When I did the display worked fine and it did not heat up but no call in or out. Thanks!

I put my Droid Razr on charger but battery symbol comes on with ? mark. Won't charge or turn on.

1. Turn off your phone when it's not in use. If you're not using your Verizon Wireless Razr, then shut it off. Your battery will last much longer if you regularly do this.
2. Charge your phone less. If you charge your Razr nightly, then your cell phone battery won't last long. Try to charge your phone only a few times a week to extend the battery life.
3. Keep your Bluetooth turned off when you're not using it. Applications, like Bluetooth, are notorious for sucking the power from a cell phone battery.
4. Protect your Razr from extreme temperatures. Your cell phone battery lasts longer if kept at room temperature.
5. Discharge the Razr fully. Before you charge your phone, let it completely die. You can extend the life of the battery by regularly discharging and then fully charging it.
6. Leave the battery in the phone. Keep the Razr battery dry and free of dirt to prolong its life.

No signal

you need to remember that V3 razr are Quad band phones meaning that they have 4 bands 850/900/1800/1900mhz, you need to go to the network setting change it from automatic to manual and change the frequency to the correct one that you mobile provider works on...that should correct the phone problem.

My motorola razr v3i goes black after using bluetooth

the pronng on little round silver piece that slides in the side has broken off cutting threw the circuitry. breaking the connection from the main circuit board to the screen . this is a comon problem with the razor . you have to puchase a new screen and replace . or send it out to have it repaired . you can purchase the part at just punch in motorola parts.
