take the black cart. out and dab on a wet paper towel, unplug printer and use q tip to clean the print head where the cartridge goes with alcohol, if that doesnt work you have a bad cartridge
If you refiil the toner cartridge ,now must be change the cartridge chip.The chip countered the total copy,not how many time you refill the toner.The original chip working 1500 copies,change one new chip to 1,5K or 3 k or moreK(K=1000 copies).
replace the black pcu(drum unit). the life of the pcu(s) are 15k each(blk & col) . the machine will work but copy quality will reduce and the error will be there. replacing the cartridge has nothing to do with this error.
One or both print cartridges are defective.Look under the "check ink" what message come.If it's BLK change black cartridge, if it's CLR change the color cartridge.If BLK and CLR change both cartridges.
Assume all the ink cartridges are original because a fake one may give that type of warning. I would open the printer and check that the plastic sheet covering the cartridge opening has been taken away. I would take out each cartridge and put it back. If the problem persists, it is likely that the ink in the tank had been dried out (very old stock) or the printer ink sensor is busted. It should still be under warranty I hope.
pls make sure that there is no error in blk cartridge nor ther any warning symbol, ensure as well that you have installed corrctly and you can see the presence of the blk ink on your console. in other areas pls check when printing on the printer properties and select blk to identify what is the real prob.
