its sounds like you lazer is going out you can ask xbox what to do if you still under you 1 year. i think it cost about $100 if iam right my buddy had this same deal with his xbox.
Sounds like the disc may be damaged. Has the disc got scraches on? if it has, you may want to go take the disc to be repaired. This can normally be done at most video game stores.
if its at the same spot all the time then u av a corrupt disc. the only choice you have is to take it back to the shop and exchange for another one. you could also contact the developers and they will sometimes send another disc to you but you have to send the old one back. check on the back of the box for details. if its in a cut scene you can sometimes cancel cut scene and it will be fine.
I'm guessing that it's a texture error in the 3d graphics, I'd try deleting any game saving files, but I'm not sure if that will work, so do it at your own risk. It might just be the game, in that case you will have to contact the people who made it.
Hi Mattrobi8886, It sounds like your console is heading for a 3 red light error, I know from experience that freezing is not good and probably means there is trouble on the way.
Adding extra cooling to the XBOX or doing an X-Clamp replacement fix works in these situations. Getting the console apart is pretty straight forward and is quite easy, I've done it plenty of times, visit the Tutorials sections here http://360solutions.eamped.com/ for instructions on taking the 360 apart.
xbox-scene.com also have allot of X-Clamp tutorials. I hope this helps in some way, leave me a message on the forum if you need more pointers.
