When Lit it shuts off the ringers to all phones register with it (the headset that came with it up to 4 sets) and when not lit they ring. If you have another phone other than the 3 cradle sets they will still ring.

From the manual: You need to program a button with FEATURE 01.
Do Not Disturb is available only on system telephones.
Do Not Disturb requires a button with lights. When the Do Not Disturb feature is on, the light
is also on, indicating that the telephone will not ring.
¦ Use Do Not Disturb when you do not want the auto attendant or the voice messaging system
to transfer calls to you.
¦ Use Do Not Disturb if you are assigned to a Hunt Group and you leave your desk, so calls to
the Hunt Group will skip your extension and ring immediately at the next available extension
in the group.
¦ To avoid missing calls when Do Not Disturb is not needed, turn it off
I found that pressing Feature -> 99 -> Feature cleared it up. The Do Not Disturb option does not work either with what the owner's manual states, or the company's Website, to either activate it or deactivate.
The Privacy is part of FP1. You need to pick a button with a light, put the T/P switch in P, touch the button, dial *72, and put the switch back in the center position.
If that doesn't work, try Auto Ans Intercom or Do Not Disturb under the same button (*70,*71). If you can't get any of the features to work, I'm guessing that the FP cartridge needs to be replaced or power down the system and remove and insert the cartridge again.
Not sure how you set this feature but here is the solution:
To set DND you would have pressed your feature button, 60,and then feature button again (if you were forwarding to another extension you would have had to enter an extention after 60 and then the feature button. This sets your DND or call forward.
To eliminate press feature, 69 and then feature again this should cancel the call forawrd or do not disturb.
The primary phone sets the ring for all phones. If it is off, nothing will ring. Once it is on you may set the volume of the rings on all sets individually. If you have the manual, look under Ringer Off on the main set. Hope this helps, let me know
1. Pick up the phone handset and dial *98. 2. Press 2 to disable Do Not Disturb. 3. Once you hear the confirmation that Do Not Disturb has been disabled, you may hang up the phone handset. or You can press "Feature" and then "69" and then "Feature" again Hope this helps!
