Jammed my 6230 bandsaw during a cut and now it won't start. Are their fuses I can replace?

you should change those out.

That should be blade tracking problems. Check your manual on how to properly track and tension the blade.

Maybe the bearing are covered with dust . Do a thorough clean up on it . Does it hummmm whenever you attempt to turn it on?

Hi Joe,

While that is a possibility, I usually start with blowing it out with compressed air, then inspecting the brushes. They're usually the first thing that wears out (down).

the pressure you are pushing could be too hard or a dull blade. what is the HP of it? I use one for cutting metal bar up to 6 inch and wood. the HP of mine is 15 horsepower and wood will cut quick when solid steel is very slow. of course mine is industrial size with a 3 foot depth

If you have power to it and it will not turn on at all your switch needs to be replaced. You could try cleaning it first and giving it a squirt of electronic contact spray.
