Have you checked the AV cable? If you are not using a HDTV, on the AV cable, there should be a little switch (referring to the end that slots into the xbox), well, make sure that the switch (look really closely now) is pushed up to TV. However, if you ARE using a HDTV, ensure that the switch is on HDTV. If this doesn't work. Check to see whether the cables are correctly plugged into the TV. If using HDTV, the red and white should be plugged in next to each other, in the appropriate holes. And all the other colours (excluding yellow) should be plugged into their appropriate holes (for video). If not using HDTV, plug the yellow , red and white into their appropriate holes. Also, your HD settings may be incorrect, put the Xbox 360 into standard definition of a standard definition tv and chenge the settings into the appropriate settings for your television (go to system, settings, Display, HD settings etc. If none of these features work, contact microsoft or just buy a new cable. HOPE THIS HELPS!! From Mike

F2 code

Hi, F2 code on the Kenmore indicates a problem with either of the control board and the user interface board. Run the console and indicators diagnostic test mode to find out.

Console and Indicators Diagnostic Test Mode Activation
  1. While in standby mode press the following button sequence within four seconds: SOIL LEVEL>WASH RINSE TEMP>SOIL LEVEL>WASH RINSE TEMP
  2. Press START within five seconds when "dt" shows on the display. All indicators in display are lit and "88" is displayed.
  3. Press START again. The two-digit display and the status indicators turn off while all other indicators remain lit.
  4. Press START again. The two-digit display and the status indicators turn on while all other indicators remain lit.
  5. Rotate the WASH CYCLE selector back and forth. The indicators will switch on an off.
  6. Press the buttons to check the functions. The indicators switch on and off and a beeping sound will be heard when a button is pressed.
  7. Press STOP or POWER button to exit diagnostic test mode.
  8. If no indicators light up or if no beeping sound is heard when a button is pressed or if some buttons do not light up indicators when pressed, check the control board, the user interface board, and the connection between them.
  • Unplug the machine.
  • Remove the three screws on the back of the console.
  • Lift the console off the cabinet.
  • The control board is located on the right side of the console viewed from the front of the machine. Disconnect the middle wiring harness connector on the right side of the control board near the pressure transducer hose.
  • Clean the connector and the terminals thoroughly with brush and alcohol.
  • Reconnect and disconnect the connector several times.
  • Reinstall the console and reconnect power.
  • If the problem is not resolved, replace the user interface board.
  • If the problem is still not resolved with the replacement of the user interface board, replace the control board. You may also replace both board at the same time and keep the old good board as a spare.
Take care

Display problems while playing Virtual Console games

If you are experiencing display issues (dim, blank or half-blank screen, ghosted image, etc.) with a Virtual Console game while using the Component Video Cable, please read the following:
Some Virtual Console games default to displaying 240 lines of video. Some HD TV's are unable to display a signal with only 240 lines. Try the steps below to set the Wii to output 480 lines of video, which may solve the problem:
  1. While on the Wii Channel Menu (main screen of the Wii), connect a Nunchuk to Wii Remote.
  2. Select the Virtual Console game from the Wii menu, then select "Start" to begin the game.
  3. When the game starts, press the Home button on the Wii Remote. (In many games, the music can be heard when the game starts.)
  4. Select "Operations Manual" from the Home menu.
  5. Press the Z + A + 2 Button simultaneously (the Z Button is on the Nunchuk). A sound will be heard if the button combination has been entered correctly.
  6. Close the Home menu. The game should now display correctly. Note: You will not have to do this the next time you play, as the Wii console will remember these settings.
If the Virtual Console game is still not displaying properly, but all other games work fine, please call 1-800-255-3700 so that we may assist you further.
