NEC LCD1760V shuts power down after 3seconds

Hi Ron usually power down issues are caused by faulty power supplies especially if the projector looses power completely however the logic board could be protecting itself if it detects a fault such as a fan not working either way it is not recommended that you try to fix it yourself unless you know what you are doing, but it may be worth removing the cover and checking that the fans are working and connected properly, occasionally the lamp can be at fault especially if it has been used for many hours if the projector tries to power up and you see light through the lens and then it looses power its probably the psu at fault, if it powers up then goes into standby of fault then its most likely a logic issue. I hope this helps Regards Ant

What is the probem if Lamp/cover alarm come after a minute in sony projector

Possible that the filter is clogged and is not cooling, it can be a faulty limit switch of the lamp cover or finally and error in the logic control.
You need to check the micro limit switch that is at the base of the lamp cover, check if this is closing and if the switch is showing contact- use a multimeter to confirm.

Faulty projector

Before a modern projector will strike the lamp it will check if the lamp is good either by remembering how many hours the lamp has been used or by measuring it with its own internal circuitry. if the test fails it will not strike the lamp because starting a bad lamp can potentially damage the projector and surrounding property.  Is the lamp old? Does it need to be replaced? if not then it may be a logic board and now requires service from a trained repair technician that has access to the parts it may need.

Toshiba TDP T 91A

Hi there

I would suggest you investigate it yourself first before dishing out that sort of amounts.

Check if the fans are running.

Most of the times the overheating of a Projector is as a result of a faulty fan.

Screen Cut off

This sometimes happen when different PC are used on the Projector - sort of confuses it sometimes.

Press the Auto button and it should be ok.

If it still occurs after pressing the Auto button - then your Mainbaord might be faulty.
