Problem for Fuji FinePix A360 Digital Camera

Card not initialized

took one picture this am, camera went dead. Replaced batteries says "card not initialized" tried to format, says "card error". have changed batteries. using the card for awhile now without issue. had pictures on it. wend to a walmart to see if i could save the pics not luck : ( would like to know how to fix if possible, if it is the card or the camera?
