RCA P52921 Color/Alignment Grid

Hey guys,

I have an RCA P52921 that I've had for about 6 years now. It runs great. I had it serviced many moons ago, and the tech pressed a bunch of codes on my remote to bring out a graph paper like grid on the screen. He was basically fine tuning the jets, and said it should be done every time you move. Well, I've moved, and was looking to see if anyone knew the remote code to access this area. It is definitely not the red/blue/green convergence that you see under the screen menu, as that only provides one set of crosshairs. What the tech did turned the entire screen into a grid.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

What your looking for is called the service menu. This is not an adjustment you should attempt unless you first read the service manual as the wrong button pressed while in this menu will cause permanent damage and an expensive repair. My best suggestion is for you to call in an authorized RCA repair person to do this for you, or purchase a service manual before you attempt this alignment procedure. Good Luck

I have a 40'' RCA colortrak2000 projection screen tv... and it has a line at the bottom of the screen when it is turned on. What can i do to fix this problem?
