Question about Compaq FP 7317 17" LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Screen Angle My screen seems to be leaning back facing up towards the ceiling more than usual and I can't adjust it to face me , although it does appear to have a thing that looks like you could adjust it but it won't budge and I don't want to force it.

In the battery cover latch case of my SS-1000, there is a diagram to instal the two AAA batteries and indicates the correct polarity, the bottom one face + to the left and the upper one toward the opposite...

For SS-1000, the bottom AAA battery should have the + polarity towards the top of the camera and the upper battery with the - polarity towards the top. If your camera doesn't turn on, then it may be defective. Please contact Intova directly by email: fatema@intova.net or call us directly at 808-837-0074 for customer service/warranty coverage. Wuich way should the teeth be facing on radial arm saw with or against rotation?

As you face the saw, the edge of the blade closest to you is going down. The teeth should be pointing down also. On any circular saw (table saw, miter saw, etc.) the teeth of the saw should point in the direction of rotation. It might seem odd because as you draw the radial arm saw toward you, the saw wants to "climb" and pull itself along through the material. Some saws are equipped with a damping device to prevent the saw from lurching forward, most are not. You need to pull the saw toward yourself slowly and steadily to keep it from climbing. good luck

I need the location of the thermistor on an LG WM2496HWM

spin the unit around so the back is facing you. tip it forward so the front of the unit faces the ground. i just lean it on the wall at a angle where it stays put. lay on the ground under the unit and look towards the front of unit right there on the bottom of the drum you will see the heater and thermistor. the heater has 2 hot wires and a ground going to it. the thermistor has a plastic locking plug with a blue and white wire. it just slides in and out of a rubber grommet. good luck

Not seeing anything through the viewfinder when switched on

Most cameras and video recorders now display picture either through the viewfinder or the LCD screen.
Your camera model allows the same. Although if you turn the lcd screen towards the subject (screen faces the same direction as the lens) then the viewfinder switches on.

Confused....

What???

The lens is considered 'facing' towards the source of the image. The camera body / sensor / film is considered to be 'behind' the lens.

you are facing the lens when the camera and lens is in front of you, regardless of where the camera is aimed.

The lens is facing the ceiling if you point it upward as if to take a picture of the ceiling, regardless of where you are facing.

I take it the Projector is ceiling mounted ?

If this is the case check that it is installed with the lens of the Projector in the facing straight to the middle of the screen or try adjusting the bracket's swivel head to move it a bit - should do the trick !

TFT Screen Loose Connection?

Hello!

These models sometimes have a problem with flickering screens, screens going black, etc. This is caused by the cable running from your LCD lid area to your motherboard.

To gain access to this cable, flip your laptop upside-down, but make sure the back is facing you (vents and such). There are 4 screws along this side, you only need to take out the middle two.

Once that is done, flip your laptop upright again, open the lid and pry up the power bar. The cable you seek is running on the right side, should be wrapped in gray-colored tape.

Adjust this cable so that it cannot move and is not being pinched, and you should be set.

If that didn't work, and since your LCD is no longer lighting up at all, I'm almost leaning towards your problem being your inverter board. Very easy to swap out, and cheap at around $20 at darntoothysam.com.

The LCD inverter board is located at the bottom front part of the LCD lid. Just take off the front frame of your lid by removing the power bar (as instructed above) and then removing the screws under the rubber bumpers on the LCD frame. Then it's just a matter of carefully peeling the glue holding the frame down at the bottom.

Your inverter board is the long green-colored board you should see with the front frame removed. This board will have two connections plugged into it. Quite the easy swap, yes?

Good luck!
