Question about Samsung SGH-d807 Cellular Phone

SGH-D807 buttons not working

I dropped the phone once, and there after up, left and right arrow buttons are not working properly. They all are hard to press and working like down button. I can't turn already set alarm to off because right button doesn't work. Middle button kind of looks pressed in the downward direction. I am not sure if I should open it up and see if I can fix it. I may lose the warranty if I open it. Please let me know if you have any advice.

Re: SGH-D807 buttons not working

Any repairs done wil be outside of warranty and charged for as you have physically damaged the phone.
However it is better to pay someone who knows what they are doing than to try your self

SGH-D807 ringtones

Hey bro,

I had the same problem a few weeks back and heres the solution;

1) Get Samsung pc studio 3..... (look in google)
2) Open up the program...
3) Click Multimedia manager...
4) Import the songs you want by drag and drop...
5) Right-click on the song you would like to use as your ringtone and click ''edit and repair button''...
6) from here you can edit parts of the song in many ways... keep in mind that the song cannot last very long (around 500kb max)
7) connect your phone to your pc via usb and click on the ''to phone'' button on the bottom right of the window...
8) Enjoy

Couple buttons stopped working

you could try taking it apart then clean it out ie dust or sand but i recently took my old phone part like yours and decided its easier to buy someones broken phone(ebay) like yours with a cracked lcd or something and use the key board from that phone to yours.

Phone to sim contacts on Samsung SGH-D807

The D807 doesn't have the option to copy all contacts to the SIM from the phone by using key presses on the phone, only to the phone from the SIM. Best solution, if you still have the CD and USB cable that came with the phone, is to use the software option. The management software allows you to manually move all those contacts to the SIM, or to your computer, which is a better idea because the SIM doesn't store the data in the same way so some is lost. For example, the phone stores a name as two separate parts, first and last, but the SIM only has a single data entry for the name so you lose the last name from each of your contacts if you directly pass the data to the SIM.
