As long as you are not using the delay timer. It is OK to put the flour, salt, sugar etc. in and put the liquid in last. As soon as you pour the liquid in push the start button. If your pan only leaks a little the fact that you are mixing right away with the flour on the bottom now will prevent any leaks. The only other answer it to replace your pan and they run about $20.00 After you push the start button don't forget to add the yeast in too.
