Theyre on the sides. its the large buttons. then you will need an oscilloscope to set frequency and gains properly without clipping.
get back to me when you get one.

My XPE2700 admits a light popping sound through the speaker, what might be the problem?

Motorboating is the name of the sound and it isn't common in modern equipment but has been common in older equipment. There are various causes for this low frequency oscillation.

There is plenty written about it so I suggest you google the subject...

I have a dual xpe2700 amp and it wont power on and i have everyting hooked up

Firstly, there are some things you have to check.
Make sure that the battery or source of power has the required power to turn it on.
Also, make sure that the power cable is properly connected and is not broken or damaged.
If all of the above are checked and are in good order but it still won't power on, then it is Amp that is damaged.
In this case, you must send it to a technician to help you work on it and rectify any errors or issues.
Hope this was helpful?

I have a dual xpe2700 amplifier and it's connected correctly bit the little triangular shaped light won't turn blue like when it does when it on an idk what's wrong with it or what to do to make it work.

How are you certain that you have the amplifier connected properly??

1. 12 volt constant wire should be run directly to the car's battery. MAKE SURE WIRE IS FUSED PROPERLY WITHIN 10 INCHES OF THE BATTERY!!!!

2. Chassis ground wire can go to any heavy bolt close to where your amplifier is mounted.

3. Remote turn on lead comes from the radio harness.
I suspect that this wire may be missing in your case.

If all wires are connected properly AND you do not have a low voltage battery condition than your amp may be nothing more than a shiny paperweight now.

Pioneer Amp

Hello Shaun123, Phase adjust the amount of lag or lead one signal has in reference to another. Frequency is an adjustment of the number of cycles pers second a signal will produce. Gain refers to the amplification factor of a signal. now in reference to you amplifier by changing phase you can set the delay of a signal (if used right you can make a wicked reverb effect), but setting phase normally will affect the tones Frequency will affect for bass and treble functionality Gain will both preset and provide amplitude adjustment (volume) Take into mind these are more then likely presets. I hope this helps

Alpine pdx 1.1000 amp

These subs are dual voice coil I'm sure...make sure they are putting a 2 ohm load on the amp total, and also set your gain and frequency setting right. Set the frequency around 85 or 90, make sure the lo pass filter is on. Turn the gain ALL the way down and turn your stereo to the point right before your speakers distort....then slowly increase the gain until the subs are playing at full volume. This should not even be close to all the way up, and the subs should sound accurate and bold. Turning them past this point will cause distortion, in which case you should back off the gain a bit. Distortion causes power to cycle through the amp very rapidly and can cause blown subs and blown fuses. If you do not know how to wire both subs for a combined load of 2 ohms, please let me know what type of subs you have.
