Most likely this issue is with BIOS. Reset CMOS with the jumper located near the coin battery, SATA ports, and the JUSB1 header.

CS35-TL motherboard

I believe what you are seeing is the monitor displaying "no input signal". My question at this point is, how do you know the motherboard is running? Are you getting the single beep for successful post? or are you just hearing the fans kick on when power is applied and assuming its working? The computer kicking on but not posting can be caused by a grounding issue from the mother board to the case. You can buy small rubber washers at the hardware store to place between the case and the motherboard were the screws go in. This will eliminate most grounding issues. If what I have said is not the case, then please clarify your post some.

most of the time when this occurs it is a bad connection between the display and the dash. pull the display ckuster out and clean the contacts and retry also check your grounds for a good connection also bad ground or dirty ground will cause this as well...

I have p4mdpt mother board but grounded, what is the common cause?

common cause is that your house wiring is wrong some home owners connected the house wire's wrong so when you plug something in that is wired wrong you get this and the board should be earth grounded if you have a home depot or lowes goto the electrical department ask someone that you need to test you outlet to make sure that the wiring is correct at the outlet they will give you a outlet tester which has three lights check outlet and have corrected as needed

E-machine 5220 power up

Emachines have notoriously cheap power supplies. Often, while the power supply itself doesn't fail, it causes the failure of motherboard components, essentially trashing the computer.

Try the following:

First check and make absolutely certain that the power switch connector is properly connected to the motherboard. (Take standard grounding/safety precautions: wear a properly-grounded grounding strap, for example, when working with any internal components.)

Obtain a known-good power supply of equal or greater capacity to your eMachines PS and switch 'em out.

If either of these fixes your problem, well and good. If not, the problem may be, as is all too common with eMachines power issues, a motherboard issue caused by the power supply.

Cpu test

on the top of the screw to prevent the metal screw to ground in the motherboard. Make it sure that the screw only grounded to the casing. Check also some metal in the back of the casing maybe it also the cause of the motherboard grounded.

No boot, casing problem?

What is the powersupply in the 1U case. Is it sufficient for this motherboard? Try using the powersupply from another case that you know works with this board and see what happens. The larger standard ATX powersupply won't "fit" the 1U case but you should be able to run wires to allow you to test with.
