of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model
number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

I'm not sure anyone can answer that with complete confidence except Sharp. Most of the time anymore a manufacture has a product run for 6months to a year before dropping the model line and creating a new one. It is not unusual for parts not even being available a year after the manufacturing run of any particular model is completed. It was probably dropped to make room for new models coming .
Sharp Customer Service may be of some help. Try them at 1800-Besharp.
