Question about Washing Machines

F&p iw712 floods

My F&P IW712 top loader runs normally - no error messages - but it is flooding the floor with water every wash. Checked the hoses - all OK. Just started doing this after 4 years great service.

Check around the boot at the front of the door. It only takes a hair to get stuck and there will be water everywhere. Or it may be the gasket around the filter cap (if there is one).

SOURCE: Another flood. GE washer

The water sound is normal. There is a solution in the top of inner tub for balance. Is it overflowing...as in not stopping the fill cycle? If so check to make sure small hose is still attached to outer tu at bottom left front. This dome that it connects to can become filled with scum and causes the unit to not know that it's full. This causes flooding. You can try removing hose and cleaning out with thin wire. Sometime only fix is to replace outer tub. Again, this is only if overflowing!!
Another possibility is a bad break allowing outer tub to spin in agitation. This throws water up over sides of tub. Monitor unit when agitating to see if outer tub picks up speed and starts to spin. It is normal for it to index.

the f-01 error code on your hotpoint all in 1 washer/dryer is a short circuit code for the motor. the only way to clear the code is to have a service tech come and inspect the reason for the error.

How do I fix a Duet Front Loader displaying a F8 E1 error Code?

Without model Number going on experience they change based on model the error codes F8E1 is a long fill error code if you have flood safe water supply hoses install regular washing machine hoses most common issue pull machine out remove back panel inspect black hose that runs from pressure switch to plastic tub the clip that holds it in place usually comes loose allowing it to rub against the rotor of the motor causing a hole to develop which will give a F8E1 code

No problem with Filter.
Pressure switch is not working, it is not sensing the water level. There could be one more reason can cause this issue. Please check the Pressure HOSE whether is punchered or not.

Wont stop filling up with water

1. if the water is not flooding the floor, then you have a drain hose siphoning problem. raise or loop the drain hose up in the back of the machine higher than the highest water level of the machine.

2. if water is flooding the floor and the only way to stop it is to shut it off at the fawcet then the water valve is bad and needs replacing

GE profile top loader washer will not fill with water at all!!

do you hear any humming when it asks for water? do you have flood stop hoses? if you have flood stop hoses take them off this could be your problem. sounds like the unit thinks its full of water if it only washes and spins sounds like you have a bad pressure switch. this should be a covered repair if the unit is brand new. let me know if you have any other questions

You have several possibles problems

The pressure switch could be faulty or the tube that runs from the pressure switch down to the accumualtor could have a cut or tear in it. solution replace hose.

or The mixing valve could be hanging open also with a piece of debris. solution replace mixing valve

For now turn the water when your not using your machine.
