Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: need an online manual on new home 373

You might be able to get a free manual from the Janome website.

I found this $5.00 download - http://brubakerssewing.com/store/index.php/sewing-machine-accessories/janome-l372-l373-instruction-book.html

SOURCE: omega model 373

It may be either or a combination of these two things.

Lint/Thread etc in top tension, for which this tutorial will be beneficial:

http://www.sendspace.com/pro/wt7kfh

....or....

Timing of Hook to Needle, for which this set of diagrams will be beneficial in general terms:

http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Repair/Sewing%20Machine%20Hook%20Timing.htm

It may be necessary to then dig deeper, but further specific detail will depend on the level of detail you have required initially when posting the question.

In the event please use THIS LINK and ask for "Bargainbox"

We recommend a General Service every 12-24 months, just like your car needs tuning, no less this rather complex machine.

Needle does not pick up bobbin thread on my 373 sewing machine, flipping the bobbin does not work, as someone suggested.

Are you certain that the needle is in correctly? If it opens at the front the flat side of the needle should be facing the back. If it opens on the left hand side then the flat part of the needle should be facing into the body of the machine. If top and bottom are threaded correctly and the needle is in properly and fully in position it should pick up. If it doesnt then you "could" have a timing fault.

How to oil euro-pro 373?

Have you tried flipping the bobbin in it's case, so that the thread comes off the top of the bobbin instead of the bottom. Some machines are sensitive to one direction of the bobbin thread.

Bobbin won't thread

Sounds like the bottom tension is to slack.
Look at the side of your bobbin case, when you thread the bobbin thread part of the route it runs is under a flat leaf spring. There is usually 2 very small scews on this leaf spring one screw holds the spring onto the casing and will be tight. The other is the tension adjuster screw, turn this screw clockwise half a turn at a time. After each half turn pull the bobbin thread until slight resistance is felt. Then try sewing if bunching/tangles still occur more tension is required, this is trial and error until the tension is corrert.
If you want a new manual try this website if your machine is not listed email them and they will try to help.
