Question about Amd Athlon 64 X2 4450e 2.3 Ghz Pib Socket Am2 2x512kb Fsb1000 45w Q505 Boxed Processor
Changed from vista to xp pro, forgot to copy the ethernet driver file. If I could connect that computer to the internet I would just use the Amd or Microsoft utility to install the driver. I need to be able to download the driver and transfer for install but can't find it. OEM doesn't carry the driver either. Please help if you can.
Need to know your motherboard in order to get ethernet drivers.
If you still have the box, check for the model number. If not you may have to do a pretty lengthy search on the motherboard itself to find the model number.
Then on another PC/Laptop/Phone search in google the model number followed by "ethernet driver".

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

I am not trying to sound funny, but the processor which you listed amd 2600,has absolutely nothing to
do with sound hardware. You need to post the motherboard or sound card if the hardware is not onboard.
If the system is say a dell ,go to dell, if you know the motherboard, then go to there site.
Sorry could not help, but if you installed windows I hope you found the right chipset driver for the motherboard, and the graph driver, because if you did not, it is probably using a windows generic driver which are garbage. If you would like help, you need to post the model# of the PC that you are refurring to before someone could see what hardware is installed on it. Hope it works out for you.

I have compiled a list below of common motherboards that work with the AMD Athlon XP processor (1500+)
Please choose from the links below one that best matches your motherboard; (These are driver links for the motherboard)
OPTION1: ---- MSI ----

SOURCE: windows xp sp2, amd sempron 2800
you just need to go to the website of your motherboard brand, then after that you just click the motherboard, when you are now in the site just type your motherboard model, then click the driver, then chose the US when you download the sound and video driver

SOURCE: amd turion serial ata drivers
Download and run the file and it will extract the contents into C:\swsetup\SP33031. Inside there will be an IDE\WinXP folder. Those would be the drivers you'd want to slip into your new disk.
