LOOKING FOR RANGER SPORT R70 BOAT MANUAL

Austin,

I have never seen a manual for this boat as a stand alone "boat manual". Typically all you get are the specs on the boat and specific systems have their own manuals. I.E. Manual for the outboard, manual for the bow mount troller, manual for depth finder, manual for radio, etc. Specs for your R70 can be found here.

U have a 1971 15 ft phantom bass boat tri haul , the tag is missing , how big of motor will it handle legally ?

I had a 1976 15 ft checkmate. Low sides. It was rated at 100 hp. A 100hp in those days was pretty big. My 90 was a 6 cal merc. Todays motors are much smaller for the same ratings. A 75-90 3 cyl should work nicely and be safe.

Where are the engine codes located on a 1970 Pacemaker 45' boat. Where are Boat Identification codes located on pre 1972 boats? Specifically this Pacemaker?

With a boat 44 years old, your boat engines may have been replaced or at minimum, overhauled. You might resubmit your question with some easy information you can add:

Gasoline or diesel engines?
Many were Crusader engines & you can usually see the name like this on the top portion of your engines.
You can see what color the valve covers are (blue, black, etc.).
You can see if they are V-8 engines if they have two long valve covers on top.
Most engines have a name plate on them (yours may be gone if original engines). Any mechanic you run into might find it quickly or recognize the engines.

Enjoy your boating. Pete

In my boat is a Clarion CMD6 head unit with two rear CMQ1620R speakers, it distorts at medium to high volume, you cant turn it up load when going.Wishing to put two new speakers in the front, cannot cut...

Best bet is to take your boat to a qualified Marine Audio dealer (generally not a boat repair shop or marina), or to a good quality Car audio store that is insured to work on boats (separete insurance usually).
When it comes to boats, you need lots of power and speakers.
First thing to do is make sure what you have is properly installed. Then determine what is "distorting" .. is it too much base, purely volume or what.
Most boats we do (wakeboard style and river boats) we do: 40-75 watts RMS per speaker 4-6 speakers in boat 1 10" or 12" sub with 200-300 watts RMS Tower speaker if requested with 75-125 Watts RMS per speaker

I need to manufacture a boat trailer for a

I have some tips I learned from finding a trailer for my 27 foot cruiser. Really, you can find deals in this economy that make rigging a trailer from scratch too much work.
You need to find the loaded weight of your boat and where the hull needs support from Carver. Your trailer needs to hit the "Chines" correctly, meaning the bunks have to be adjustable to the contours of the hull.
The bunk supports can fit outside, inside, or on top the frame rails Mine started on top of the rails and were converted to the torsion axles, requiring new supports.

The axles need to support enough weight and State laws will say how many axles need brakes. Your choice of electric or hydraulic. The bunks should be made of Cypress, but synthetic decking could be cheaper. Your tires should Load rated D or better and 15 to 16 inch wheels, not 14 inch because of the weight.

There are numerous Boat Salvage yards listed online.
There seems to be a "thing" about the region the boats are used. Some places have orphaned trailers everywhere and others are always married to a trailer.
I have seen Boatyard liquidations with ridiculously cheap trailer prices. Use the internet and look.

Float on style trailers are designed with immersions depths and vertical guides to allow the boat to be driven onto the trailer. But not at full throttle, only enough power to move the boat over the bottom rollers/guides. Some trailers are designed to have the boat winched onto the trailer. For this style, you drive to boat to a starting point and then use the winch to pull the boat the remaining distance. These sometimes have a release mechanism and hinge/pivot point to allow the back of the trailer to drop below the normal towing position to make recovery easier. As the boat is winched into position, the weight of the boat will cause the trailor to pivot and return to the towing position.
