The water will come into washer but the washer will not spin it is making a humming sound and thats it after the water is in it wont do anything else
This could be a broken drive belt ($$$) but it may also be the door-closed sensor switch. If this switch get's sticky or bent it will not sense when the door is closed and the machine will not spin. It's usually a little slot somewhere around the edge of the door opening and a little finger on the door fits into the slot when the door is closed. I'd sticking a pencil or similar into that slot when the machine should be spinning and see if it helps.
I've fixed this with a little WD-40 sprayed into that slot to limber up the switch.
Please be careful and do not over-ride the function of this switch.
