There are many PCI SATA controller cards out there. Just know that the SATA will not run at the SATA II standard. This is because you're motherboard may not support the bus speed for the SATA II or SATA I. If you current motherboard does not have a SATA port built on it, than your not going to see the speed the drive is able to run. Click this link (a Google search for PCI SATA II controller cards).

Watch out for PCI-X. This is not the same as a PCI slot.
PCI-X slots are only found on motherboards that have SATA I & SATA II slots on them. These PCI-X slots are the smaller SATA slots found inbetween PCI-Express sloted boards.
Promise controller cards make some of the best controller cards on the market.
