Hi, you may want to reset/restore the Epson LX300 to default settings. This can be done by pressing down on the FONT button while powering on the printer. If done right the LX300 will print a test page with the firmware version. It is also possible that the drivers are corrupted. In Start, Printers & Faxes, delete the LX300 printer, restart your PC and then re-install via Add Printer. In some cases, defective parallel cable can also cause problems. Unfortunately the only sure way of checking is by replacing the printer/parallel cable with a known good/operation cable. Try connecting the printer via the USB port on either one of the computers. Then test if the machine prints fine then likely possibility is that the Network interface card is faulty remove the network card and install in a different slot and test. If the same thing happens then reinstall the drivers and test.

I work with Zebra printer on a daily basis and it sounds like you will need to restore the printer to the factory defaults. However if you choose to do this you will remove the network settings, assuming your print has a NIC and you are using it as a network printer. Record the network settings before you default the printer so you have them on hand to re-enter the settings. You will need to enter the Advanced Setup 3 to load the defaults, Once the defaults are reloaded go back into Advanced Setup 3 to re-enter the network settings. This should solve you problem.

I have the same issue, but with a HP DJ 3550, I´ve heard about the data execution protection (DEP) migth help when changing the options, but still have to try it

-try converting the PDF file
-the driver may need to be reloaded
if you print from Word does it go trough? if yes then that particular file is the problem
