I have a dewalt DW712 8.5" slide saw. My trigger came apart, i need to know how to reassemble the trigger? " where do the springs go" for instance?

The spring is positioned so as to provide a constant pressure on the switch so when it is depressed the switch will close the electrical circuit. If you go to the DeWalt home page and query the model for a repair diagram will also assist. You will need some back ground in assembly and mechanical drafting.

HOW DO YOU REPLACE A BATTERY ON A CASIO 1572 A168

This is how I replaced the battery on my Casio 1572 A168 watch.

1- Undo the 4 screws to remove the back cover. Note the correct orientation for reassembly by observing the writing.
2- Gently pry out the mechanism.
3- Undo the 6 clips round the circumference of the mechanism with a pin or watchmakers screwdriver. The top half should come loose. There is also a 7th clip which can be more easily unclipped from underneath. Replace the battery.
4- Note the correct position of the small spring. This spring is necessary to make the watch speaker work.
5- Note from the picture the correct position of the special contact which connects with the lower board. If this does not connect properly then the display will disappear.

6- With the battery in place, the watch display should work properly. If there is a problem try connecting the two all clear contacts with a screwdriver, paper clip or small piece of wire to reset the watch.

7- Reassemble the watch and make sure the rubber seal is in place. The seal on my watch was slightly deformed so I used a very small amount of silicone sealant on the tip of a screwdriver to tack it down properly.

8- Put on the back cover being careful not to overtighten the 4 screws and damage the threads. The cover needs to be positioned correctly and not 180 degrees in reverse so the spring will connect with the correct place. When you look at the front and back of the watch the writing should be the same way round.
Kind regards
Chris

*Looking at the picture it might also be possible to replace the battery by removing just the one clip that is closer to the spring. However I found that that clip is more easily undone from underneath, so I preferred to do a more complete dismantling. This also gives more freedom to reposition the battery.

Rebuilt bottom end, all gears going in fine and shift pedal moving nicely, put clutch in and still ok. put back in frame and had to remove shift pedal .now i cant select any gear as will only move a small...

The shift lever has a return spring that pulls the actuator back up. If the gear on the shift shaft has slipped out of position with the gear from the shift drum actuator (the gears are in the wrong position) or the spring has become unhooked) you get the no shift condition. Your problem is probably being caused by a missing spacer or the parts were put back in incorrectly (the 10mm movement of the shaft). You will have to take the engine apart and reassemble the shift mechanism correctly so the shaft does not move and the shift actuator gears line up correctly. Use an on line parts service to look up a picture breakdown of the mechanism (you do not say what model you have)so you can figure out what is missing.

To replace the fuse in my garmin 650 car charger, when reassembling which goes in first the spring or the fuse ? The cap came off and the spring and fuse fell out and I am not sure how to reassemble it.

As long as it works correctly when assembled it doesn't matter, the spring is part of the circuit and as long a the fuse and spring have contact with the tip and internal connection the circuit will function properly without any risk of damage to the device. Most times the spring goes in first though.
