Hello i like to install speaker sound drivers ...

Speakers do not need any drivers!! Your sound card need drivers.

If your sound card is PCI, remove it and reinsert it to the PCI slot again and see whether your system detect the device and use the sound CD to install the drivers. (Change PCI slots if necessary and turn off the PC before changes the PCI sound card).

If your audio device is intergrated device, check the Bios to make sure the sound/audio is enable.

Note: Check the device manager first to see any audio device had been install properly.

Sound can not be played on my system and asked about audio out put device

this is happening when the sound card has no driver ...probably you downgraded to xp from vista or windows 7 and now you do not have the suitable driver for xp...
If this is a brand computer ...than you can look on the manufacturer's site for the sound driver ....(for xp) if it is not...and it is a it and take a look at the sound card if it is a pci card...and let me know the name ..and model...if it is an on board card ..than I need the motherboard name ...
If the computer came with a driver disk ..and always used Xp ..but now you just reinstalled it ...look for the sound driver on the mother board disk ..or separate disk if it has a PCI card ..
(the pci card for sound is just a separate card ..that is inserted in a pci slot ..that is why its called that way ...and its different from a on board just by that...The on board cards..always have the drivers on the disk that came with the motherboard..)
Im waiting for an answer and will see whats to do further..

I need a sound device for my newly formated pc; Its Microsoft windows XP Professional & im from Philippines...

If you are planning to get a sound device hardware like a PCI card you can choose CMI8738 audio PCI Audio Device may suffice your needs.

If built in on your motherboard use your motherboard installer or manually go to sound device folder to install the driver.

If you don't have the motherboard installer, try its manufacturer's site then choose the exact model number and version, to get the right driver.

What is PCI bus, device 16 function 1 Code 28

While I do not know exactly what would cause your computer to display that code, I can safely assume that you are using a pci sound card if you are getting a pci error, and your sound is not working. In short, yes, the pci problem is almost definitely related to your sound problem.

My computer is Win XP Media center ed, when i awaken from standby i lose audio and can restore it only by reboot or shutdown and restart.

u propably have a pci sound card!!!!! so if u do....u need to manage some things up.....ur system is working on 2 drivers...the onboard and the pci 1....when ur booting the system will apply the 1 managed bye the pci....**** when ur in sleep mode or stanby mode....the system dnt check the last driver status...(..) u probably understand what i wanted to say..if u do disable 1 of them and check it..**** be sure all ur programs are managed on 1 outputt(or the pci sound card or the onboard 1) luck
