Frame repair the frame will not fold down when the buttons are held in its as if its stuck i no longer have proof of purchase

On the top you have 2 black knobs. You have to pull them upwards and then the right one to the right en the left one as it is.

Can I oil my Quinny it's stiff to fold


Hi

No you must never use oil based lubricants anywhere on your Quinny product.

Use furniture polish or dry Teflon spray (found in the laundry aisle of larger supermarkets) and a soft cloth to clean debris and provide lubrication for easier fold / unfold action. Pay attention to the central tube as any debris here will create friction when attempting to fold / unfold which may make it difficult.

I have a quinny zapp push chair and the release button on the one side does not lock into place. Do they sell these spare parts. or is there a quick fix cheers

Only the number 1 button will stay in - the number 2 button must be held as you're folding/unfolding.

If it is the number 1 button that is no longer staying in, then unfortunately there isn't a quick fix and due to the way it is integrated into the chassis it isn't an item we can send out as a spare part for you to replace yourself.

How old is your Zapp? If it is under 2 years old, please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase for them to make the necessary arrangements to send the chassis back to our engineers to provide full inspection and repair work under the warranty terms and conditions.

My quinny buzz won't fold down, seems like its jammed. The only thing I did different was push the extendable handle in while it was folded.

Are you a UK customer?

Firstly ensure the seat unit is forward facing and is in the upright position before you attempt to fold it. The Buzz is easiest to fold if you stand in front of it; Make sure the first button is completely pushed in and that the second button is as far forward as possible before attempting to fold. Make sure there is nothing on the central tube preventing the unit folding down.

If you still have difficulties and you are a UK customer and your product is under 2 years old, please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase for them to make necessary arrangements for the product to be returned to our engineers. If you're a UK customer and the product is either over 2 years old or you no longer have proof of purchase, please contact the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 to book in the unit for chargeable inspection and repair work required. Standard charge is £60 and this will include courier delivery service of the product back to your address; in addition you'll need to make arrangements and cover costs for courier delivery of the product into our engineers.

try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Turn the frame off.
2. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
3. Remove any memory card or flash disk from the frame.
4. Connect the power cable directly to a wall outlet.
5. Turn the frame on.

6. Use a paper clip to press the button inside the pinhole on the back of the frame.

If after trying the above steps and the frame still have the same problem, then we need
to send the frame in for a repair as per warranty guidelines.

Your frame will be repaired per warranty guidelines. A product is warranted for 1 year from the date-of-purchase. For an In-Warranty repair, a “Proof-of-Purchase” is required. If the repair center finds any customer induced damaged, the warranty will be voided and you will receive a notification from the repair center in such cases.
