Ok with the front of the vacuum facing you look on the left had side of the power head then follow these steps.
1.Remove the door by removing
the hold down screw located on
side of power head.
2.Slide the door forward by
prying open with a screwdriver

Green light does not come on ans brush does not move. belt is good and brush does spin manually.

I assume this is a Kirby. The belt is not on the motor shaft if you can turn the brush manually. Remove the head, turn the belt lifter assembly clockwise to stretch the belt into a loop, place the head back onto the motor unit and latch it in place, then turn the belt lifter counterclockwise to drop the belt onto the motor shaft.

My Kirby is not engaging the belt after it was put back on. I took it off to clean brushes and did everything according to the video but the belt will still not engage and green light does not come on.

The belt is not on the motor shaft. Remove the head from the motor unit. With the belt centered on the brushroll, turn the belt lifter a full 3/4 turn counterclockwise to stretch the belt up onto the belt lifter finger. ( Look through the back to be sure the belt is streched into a loop over the finger.) Plce the head back on the motor unit and latch it in place, then turn the belt lifter fully clockwise to drop the belt onto the motor shaft. Be sure the brushroll is correctly installed in the head. Setting # 1 should face the floor.

Need diagram to hook up a new dryer belt 5 cycle 2 temperature not sure of model # Whirpool

put the belt around the drum with the ribs on the drum, put the drum in and make sure the felt on the back is tucked in so you don't see the edge of the felt, now pull the belt under the pulley with both sides of belt touching and then put the belt onto the motor shaft pulley, gab your pants belt near the end between your fingers, you'll see the belt touching and a loop on the end, your fingers are like the pulley and the loop is the part you stick on the motor shaft, that's how it looks when it's connected.it's hard to tell you because i don't think about it when i do it,i just put the belt on ha,hope this helps

How to place belt on dryer drum

Take the hanging part of the bottom of the belt and place a finger through the bottom and pull it toward the belt tentioner , you may have to pull the tentioner with your other hand until you reach the motor shaft , loop the part of the belt your holding with your finger around the motor shaft , that should be it. Hold the drum straight and roll it clockwise a full turn to ensure it is correct.
Let me know how this goes.

How to fit a belt to a wf440p washing maching

remove the top cover and lower rear cover. loop the belt over the motor shaft and then around the drum pulley, this will probably only go round halfway as it is tight, hold the belt to the pulley by turning it rather like putting on a bicycle chain.
when it's on make sure it runs centrally round the pulley adjusting the position on the motor shaft if needed.

Vacuum motor shaft too hot

Check the brush roll ends, will they turn easily or is one frozen. If so, you need to replace the brush roll. If the motor turns on, it and the belt are trying to turn the brush roll and can't. Also check the ends where the brush roll sits in and make sure it hasn't overheated and melted., If it did you will have to replave the base.

Dryer repair

No. the belt is replace from the front, UNPLUG UNIT..remove front panel belt is looped over drum that way. Much eaiser to remove acess panel behind unit to reattach belt to idler and motor shaft, spring problably popped off idler, or motr shaft reattach and pull idler all the way to right and loop belt around motor shaft and relese(pulley should add tensionto belt)
