Question about Water Heaters
My vallient boiler is just five years old and have just putt he heating on for the first time this year. The heating and boiler work fine but when l change the timer clock which is on the front of the boiler and switch heating to'timer' the **** does not go round or move thus the heating will not come on unless l switch tot he 'on' position. I cannot put the heating on timer anymore. thank you

check to see the time clock is set with the clock symbol. there are three settings on analog clocks I , O and clock the I setting is constant running, the O setting is off and the clock setting is timer.
also try setting the thermostat up higher to see if the boiler fires.

refere to manual check for override switch loss of pressure no problem re-pressurise and check for leak top of rad valve good place to start

Seems that you may have bad circulation pump.
