Mp3 USB Audio Player

I recently purchased a 1GB mp3 player. It worked well for the first week but after this it started to repeat the same track over and over. It is still possible to get to the next track but I do have to press the next track button each time. I have tried reformatting the player but the same problem occurs every time. (I have tried to format it to a FAT and FAT32 system). The product I have discovered is a fake IPOD shuffle (2nd Gen) however I was not supplied with a make or model - it was only labelled as mp3.

Re: Mp3 USB Audio Player

Ha figured it out! While a song is playing, push the toggle button on the top right of the unit. It should pull up a menu for repeat, equalizer, and some other things. set it to repeat all, or random, or whatever you wish. I tried to set it to "repeat normal" and it only played one song, then stopped, so I chose repeat random. I hope it works for others.

Re: Mp3 USB Audio Player

It sounds like it is set on repeat. Can you not switch the repeat function off?

Hi I have purchased 5 x Thomson 6677 mp3 players. They are a cheap little 1GB player which I planned to use as give aways for business development with audio material about our company...

try relabeling the tracts in the following order. 01,02,03 etc. Reason the indexing on the device might be set to rearrange based on single numbers.

hope this helps.

I have a Creative Zen V 1gb, when I put songs on it with Windows Media Player, and unplug it afterwards, and when i want to start listening the songs on my MP3, it doesnt show any tracks! while WMP says...

Try updating your firmware, because "default" firmwares have problems sometimes with WMP Sync features that also adds a DRM code to each transfered track.

If not, make sure you use standard .mp3 extensions for your songs, because on basic settings WMP converts your audio files to .wma when you transfer it to an mp3 player

Downloading audio books

I did sort it out. I used the USB connection cable and downloaded to the player as I would to a drive. But one thing I did realize is that the audio book needs to be the only thing on the player as at first I couldn't access the first pages. It may be because of the size of the player (1 gb) but once I deleted my music stored on it, the first pages popped up. Thank you.

Ilo mp3 player and memory/files

You need to run chkdsk on the player. Plug it into your computer using the usb cord. Go to Start, Run, and type in chkdsk f: (or whatever drive your ilo shows up as). You'll get an option to repair the corrupted files. This worked for my ilo which had the same problem.
