Why would my iron heart Lainey 212 combo amp combo be blowing fuses?

Because some component in the amp is failing/failed and drawing too much current. The amp needs a repair shop. Poking around without knowing what you're doing can expose you to leather voltage. Don't do it.

sounds like you have a dead short internally and unless you find and fix it will continue to blow fuses .

Possible that the output tubes that were replaced are drawing too much current, hence the popping sound (may be "motorboating", one common word to describe a similar sound)

This means the tubes need to be biased properly. You need to get it to someone who knows what they are doing, ie a good amp tech, not GC. The voltages here are dangerous.

What kind of fuse do i need for it

The unit uses two 300 watt halogen lamps so it draws around 5 amps for just the lights and a small amount for the motor. The E108 is a carbon copy of the Chauvet Double Derby that used the halogen bulbs. My Chauvet is marked as using a 7 amp fuse for 120 volt operation or a 5 amp when used on 230 volts.

PLEASE open the unit if the fuse blew as it is likely there is an internal problem if nothing more than a light bulb that shorted as it burned out. There are slip rings and the sockets that need to be inspected if the fuse did blow.

Hye. When i switch the on button, the power indicator didnt turn on. Is it because of the tubes or the transformer?

Most likely you blew a bus fuse. Can't say you should open it up and replace it though because there are lethal voltages inside of your amp that could hurt or kill you. You can find replacement bus fuses at radio shack. just make sure you get the same rated fuse. 500mA 125v or something like that in small writing on the metal part of the tiny glass cylinder.

I need to replace the fuse for a used Marshall MG100HDFX that I bought. Where is the fuse located inside the head?

If the fuse is blown make sure the reason it blew is repaired before replacing the fuse. Start the amp up after replacing it with a 100 Watt light bulb in series with the hot side of the power into the unit. This will act as a current limiter to verify it is repaired and will not blow the fuse. When you open the unit the fuse will be obvious... Follow the hot side of the power cord, through the switch to the fuse.

Where to buy fuse

http://www.fender.com/support/amp_schematics/pdfs/Bassman_400_Schematic.pdf Also note there is a thermal protection circuit and a current overload. If the amp turns on and there is no sound start with the speaker to make sure it isn't blown and work backwards through the wiring and connections up to the crossover circuit (all in one cabinet version). On the head separate versions check for a broken output jack problem. The fuses are 10 amp 250 volts for the 100-120 volt models and 5 amps 250 volts for the 230-240 volt models. NOTE: If you are at all unsure about opening your amp up to work on it, take it in to be serviced. It doesn't sound like a fuse problem to me. Necer work on an amp while the power cord is plugged in. Always replace parts with the proper replacement especially fuses. They are there to protect the circuits. If they keep blowing it means there is an internal problem. Remember that capacitors store a lethal charge and it is easy to touch the wrong thing when you are looking inside an amp even if it has been disconnected from power for a while.

Is there a circuit breaker

There should be a fuse holder near the place in the back of the amp where the power cord plugs in. Also some Marshalls have fuses in fuse holders on the circuit board. Always replace with the same value and type as the original fuse. Never open up the amp when it is plugged in to the outlet. When replacing the internal fuses do not touch the capacitors as they retain a lethal charge. If the fuse continually blows it is an indication of a more serious problem which will require servicing by a qualified repair person.

The amp just turned off and won't come back on. fuse blown?

If you can see where the power wiring comes into the amp there has to be a fuse in there somewhere as the fuse is designed to cutoff all power when overloaded
