bissell lift off pet revolution vacuum smells bad when I vacuum!

When I am vacuuming, there is a bad smell that comes out of the vacuum, like stinky dog smell. I empty the canister at least 3 times when i vacuum, I have taken out the filters and washed them, let them dry and try it again, but the smell is still there. I've only had the vacuum a few months. Why is this happening? I love how much dog hair it picks up, but don't like the smell.

You may have a clog in the hose. Unhook the hose and see how the suction is there, if ok, then check the dirt inlet by the brush roll. If suction is low at the hose, then there is a clog in it.

Check both filters. If one or other is increasingly dirty, wash or clean it out. Also check the air waves leading to the bagless bin canister part. If one air way is blocked the remaining dirt will try and access the bin other way due to the natural vacuum suction aspect.
