I sometimes will wipe the device clean and install a new version of OS.. but you can call motorola directly and ask for a download link for the build number you want. 1.847.576.5000

this link should get you in the right spot.. but you want the Cleaner Device Software if you can find it..

load it to a micro/SD card, put it into the device. plug into power, hold 1 & 9 press power.. release all.. press power again and hold yellow laser trigger until it asks you to update loader.. this will reset your device.

we had to disable power save on ours cause the scanner sleeps and shuts off wifi, and took 1-2 minutes to reconnect to our wifi radios.. and the app would time out.. so I suggest doing the same.

  • Cannot get mail
  • Unable to move message

  • Relaying denied
  • Email address rejected by the server
Resolution First, try these basic troubleshooting steps:
  1. Tap Safari and load a webpage. If you can load a webpage, then your device has Internet access. If you can't load a webpage, check your Wi-Fi connection or try a different Internet connection:
    • Try a different Wi-Fi connection.
    • If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
    • If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
  2. Log in to your email provider's website to make sure that the account is active and the password is correct.
  3. Make sure your settings are correct using Mail Settings Lookup.
  4. Restart your iOS device.
  5. Delete the affected email account from your device.

"Unable to move message"

"Username or password is incorrect" with POP3 account Before you check your email on your iOS device, close it on your computer and other devices.

  2. Look for the label POP ACCOUNT INFORMATION.

"Relaying denied" or "Email address rejected by the server" when you try to send email This error indicates that either an email address is incorrect or your settings aren't correct for your current connection.   • If you're on a Wi-Fi network connected to the same network as your email domain, such as your Cable or DSL provider, try port 25:

    3. Scroll down and tap Outgoing Mail Server.
    4. Tap Primary Server, then tap Server Port.
    5. Delete the current port and enter 25.
    6. Tap Done.
  • When you connect to a cellular data or a different Wi-Fi network, you need to use an alternate port and authentication, if your email provider supports it. The most common alternate ports are 465 and 587. Check with your email provider for specific settings.
If you still can't send email, you can set up an alternate SMTP server.

How do get the internet?

It seems the 3DS does not have internet browsing capabilities as of yet and it is planned to be implemeneted in
late may.

My dell aximx51v wont connet to the internet when a select a wireless network, add password, it says its connected, when i type www.google.com for instance i get this message; cannot connect cannot connect...


Go to 'Start > Settings > Connections tab > Wi-Fi > Network Adapters tab', and make sure that 'My network card connects to' is set to 'The Internet'.

Why i see error number 81003005 in yahoo messenger?


This message appear probably because of your computer proxy software by default change your connection properties.
Solution is
Open you internet explorer
  • click tools>>>Internet option>>>connection tap
  • Under Dial-up and Virtual Private Network setting
  • Double click your current internet connection that you are using now
  • Make sure that under Proxy Server, the ‘Use a proxy server for this connection’ isUNCHECKED
  • Now back to connection tab
  • Click LAN setting
  • Make sure that under Proxy Server, the ‘Use a proxy server for this connection’ isUNCHECKED
  • Click OK>>OK
  • Try to logging to your Yahoo messsenger again.

AIRTEL GPRS settings for HTC Touch P3452


THIS SHOULD HELP U......

On Windows Mobile 6.x, the steps to configure are as follows:

1. Activate Airtel Live by sending the following SMS to 121: MASALA ACTIVE.
2. The service takes atleast 3-4 hours to get active. Restart the phone and resume configuring.
3. Tap Start -> Settings.
4. Select Connections Tab and tap Connections.
5. Select Advanced Tab, tap Select Networks button to bring up Network Management.
6. Under "Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:" drop down, tap the New button.
7. In the General Tab, type the name of the settings as Airtel Live
8. Select Modem tab, tap New...
9. Type the name of connection as Airtel Live, select the modem as Cellular Line (GPRS) and tap Next.
10. Type Access Point Name as airtelfun.com and tap next.
11. Leave username, password and domain blank and tap finish.
12. Select Proxy Settings tab. Tap "This network connects to the Internet". This should enable the next check box option.
13. Tap "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet".
14. Type the proxy server as: 100.1.200.99 and then tap Advanced...
15. Tap HTTP, leave the server as 100.1.200.99 and change the port to 8080
16. Similarly tap WAP, Secure WAP and Socks, type the server as 100.1.200.99 but leave the port to defaults. These are optional settings.
17. Tap OK to close the Advanced proxy setup screen.
18. Tap OK to close the New connection screen.
19. The network management screen should now list the new connection you have created in the drop-down. Tap OK to close this screen
20. Tap OK to close the connection screen.

Now you are ready to fire your favourite browser. I have tested this on PIE as well as Opera 9.5 and it works for me.

If PIE reports "Request not authorized by the WAP Gateway", you will need to change the user-agent to anything you can think of using "Advanced Config" tool (thanks to dsixda for suggesting this). I had set it to HTCP3452_Mozilla/4.0 under Advanced Config -> Internet Explorer -> User Agent Custom Base.

I think Airtel has intentionally blocked Mozilla/4.0 user-agent on WM phones. It may be that they cannot restrict Windows Mobile based phones from accessing websites on standard HTTP. On other phones I had tried, I could not get other sites to work with the same settings.
