The power ICs are a known weak spot on these machines - replacements are often found on eBay, tagged with the model number. You could try this for your locale

The tv works fine sometimes but then the picture becomes distored on one side, jumping and fuzzy, there is no pattern to it and it is happening a lot i have reconnected all the wires but it doesnt help

Once the board warms up or the circuits works up ,t here are some components , can be active or passive that seems to go weak in the set value.
So imagine that it is the heat that changes the parameters of the board as the weak component which can be a capacitor or a IC decides to break down.
Identify the section and pin point by using a simulated heat on suspected sections which will help to identify the component .
replace suspected capacitors in this section, suspect IC's if they heat up more than required.

Error Code 2-2. (Low Voltage Supply) What now?

That is a power supply issue and this requires a skilled person to do it.Trouble shooting in this kind of problem includes voltage measurement and resistance reading of the components/parts inside the high voltage section This is not a DIY problem but if you still want to do it yourself then I can give you some guide that you can try.
1.Check the power supply board, this board is where the power cord is connected. The common problem on this circuit are the filter capacitors .A leak and shorted capacitors always cause that kind of problem the worse is dead set.To visually identify a defective capacitor is their appearance they look to be bulging on top blown, theirs a liquid leak on the body.replace the defective capacitor if you found any.with the same rating and value..
2.Resistors -change value resistors and open resistance can cause the same problem this resistors usually near the regulator transistor. They appears as burned and overheated replace it with the same rating there is an available color code calculator of resistor in the internet click this link and key in the color of the resistor to get the value..

3. check the voltage regulator transistor if it is shorted .the first pin and second pin must not have a reverse reading..

4.Check also the two big IC marked with STK xxxx this IC are the convergence IC it controls the horizontal pin of picture..when this IC are defective this will shut down the power supply ..

The steps I mentioned must be done with a skilled personnel If you feel you can do it,well you can try or better yet bring it to the service center or call a service technician...click this link for service center
good luck hope this helps!

check R7059 and R7050
check for 2.2 ohm.
if not 2.2ohm replace them.
values are 2.2ohm at 2 watts
also look for bad soldier around all serounding resintors.

the large IC's on a big heat sink is where the convergence ic's will be
here is an example http://www.nteinc.com/specs/7100to7199/pdf/nte7178_81.pdf
the resistors will be on the lines of these IC's
need help identifying the resistor values?

I need to identify the parameters (rating) of a resistor for a Panasonic PT53WX53G projector big screen tv. It got hot so I can not see the color codes on it. This resistor glows red when TV is turned...

The resistor you see is a 2.2 ohm 2 watt resistor and is part of the convergence circuitry. I would replace R7011. 7012, 7013, 7014, 7015 & 7016 (all the same value) and the 2 STK392-110 Convergence ICs. This should fix your problem. You can find kits on-line for around $45 with the IC's and resistors together.

Only use the same part number when replacing convergence amps, or you will need to replace all of the power resistors with recommended values for the convergence amps subsituted.
