I had to take the front cover to reconnect the oil feeder. I have a spring which moves the operating lever to off when released but I cant see where it goes to re-assemble saw. CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?

Sorry David, I had a look online and found that part 17 is a lock bolt. I obviously didn't get the same parts diagram. If its a round spring with a hook end on it, there should be a small hole or clip /pin that it latches onto. If the spring is the retracting type( the spring tries to pull itself closed) that means the spring is trying to pull something,.If the spring is the expanding type ( It springs open) it means its pushing something. If its a wire spring with 2 "legs" see if the spring is pushing or pulling and work out what way it needs to go to make the on /off lever go to the off position. pretty hard to describe how a spring works. Hope this helps.

How do i fix my jenn-air refrigerator JSD2488DEB .The damper door and spring fell off while removing a part.I have no idea where the spring is placed?

Parts for Jenn Air JSD2488DEB Shelves Accessories Parts

This might help. However you could try putting the damper door in without the spring and moving it through its open and closing to see what is near the door the spring could hook to. Look for small holes or tabs.

Having trouble opening the hood on 99 monte carlo

Have someone pull on the release, while you press down on the hood

Once open --do not close it--until you wash down or spray solvent
on all latch parts & then lightly lube moving parts

Under the hood is a round part with a spring

All that has to be cleaned as well & you lube the part under the
spring

Toro 6.5 model 20016 throttle stuck open

I believe that is the governor spring you are referring to. YES it needs to be replaced, before you sustain permanent engine damage.

Installed two new springs on automatic doorman model 455 and it won't close or open. chain will not move door where are adjustment screws? I think that may be the problem

Does it make a noise? Did it run before you changed the springs? Did you replace springs on opener or on the door? What adjustment screws are you looking for? Do you think they went out of adjustment when you changed the springs?

I have IR 2000 air compressor and it ejects large amounts of coolant out of the air inlet. It seems like this occurs more so when it is hot. This has only happened with IR air compressors.

I need to know if this is a rotary screw compressor or a piston compressor. Ir makes a 2000 in both. If this is a older ssr2000 rotary I would first look at the minimum pressure check valve. It is located on top of the seperator tank. The top cap will screw off. In it is a large spring ,a piston ,a small spring and a disc with teflon seat. check the teflon seat. Make sure all are clean and slide in the bore of the valve freely. I use sil glide lubricate from napa to lubricate all parts. if the o-ring is damaged it will need replacing. I usually get a kit from IR if any parts need replacing. Reassemble. the next place to look is on the 4 " line from the bottom of the airend to the seperator tank. In this line close to the airend between a flange is the check valve. If you remove it look closely at the orientation of this valve. If not reinstalled properly it will not close and let large amounts of oil back into the airend. check for wear, sticking etc. It should be very free and close easily.

New fuel door is on but it appears to open too easily and looks like there should be a clip or spring to keep it closed tightly-Is that correct? Can I get a clip or spring at auto parts store?

I have the same issue

They rust & break

If it is still there loosen the screw
& move the broken part back

I have yet to try a dealer, but that would be
the only place to get one other than a
salvage yard that should have tons of them
on wrecks

The spring is to open the gas door so
you can get your fingers under it to open

My 1997 Jeep Grand Cheroke's doors close funny. Both of them don't close smoothly. Anyone else have this problem? It's not when the door latches it's during the close, like something is bent but it's on...

Each door has two hinges. The bottom hinge has a lever spring and two rollers attached that prevents the door from swinging freely when it is opened or closed. (one roller for opening and one for closing) If the door seems like its bent, it is probably because the rollers are frozen and when you open/close the door the lever spring is scraping across the raised edges of the rollers instead of riding them. If the door is not moving smoothly, or is making loud creaking noises, give a good dose of WD-40 to the hinges as well as the rollers, especially the rollers. The rollers should roll when the lever spring engages it as you open/close the door.

Final spin making very loud noise vibrates with

Hi,

Open the door and see if the basket has any up and down "play" in it. what you're doing here is checking the rear bearing assembly. There should be no "play"/movement (other than the entire tub assembly moving on the shocks/springs obviously). the rear bearing in any front load machine has practically zero tolerance. meaning it shouldn't knock when spinning, or have movement in the basket if you try to move it with an up & down motion.

If you DON'T have nay unwanted motion, make sure you are using the right detergent, that the unit is sitting level on all four feet/legs, and that the shock absorbers and springs on the tub aren't broke or seperated from the cabinet.

If you DO have unwanted motion/up & down play, you may want to consider a new washer, unless you have extended warranty or canet a could "used" one for parts.

Also check for any signs in the cabinet for pieces of concrete from the counterweight at the front.

At this point, before removing any parts/panels etc. **Unplug the unit from the wall**

You'll need to remove two screws at the bottom in the front to remove the lower panel for checking the shock's and counterwight, and remove the top to check the springs. There are two or three screws at the top in back to remove the top panel.

hope that helps,

Good Luck :)
