SOURCE: Jandy/Stealth Pool Pump motot

Hi .. If ypou are gtetting air in the basket, then ytou have a leak somewhere in the system. start by closing off the skimmer, bottom, cleaner one at a time and see when the air stops gettingt in. Is there enough water level to cover the skimmer? have you checked the seal on the strainer at the pump? you might be able top hear hissing if it is at the pump.

Not getting fuel in the filter

You can use low pressure from an air-compressor to blow out the INTAKE line from the tank to the filter to unclog the line. The fuel pump has a filter screen that may very well be clogged as well. Remove the fuel lines from the pump. Take out the screws that hold the pump face on, and remove the screen. Be careful not to rip the gasket when you remove the pump face. Clean the screen and re-install. While the lines are disconnected you can blow them out. After everytning is re-installed, the system may have to be purged of air. There should be purge valves on the side of the pump for this. As the pump is running, open the purge valve to allow any air in the line to escape. Also for future reference, the INTAKE line should be at least a few inches from the bottom of the tank, so sludge that settles to the bottom is not drawn into the line. It's also a good idea to use a anti sludge additive to the tank.
Hope this helps.

Igniter locks out

Ignition lock out will happen if the heater expects it to ignite, all things appear to be good, but ignition never happens. Check what the heater does not Know: is gas shut off valve open? Has the gas line been worked on - was the pipe opened up anywhere, like at the union? If so, then there is air in the line and air will not ignite. So, the gas line needs time to have the air purged or you can prime the gas line, but the best suggestion is to have a Professional do this!!!

I think air got into the pool filter and now it has no suction what do I do to resolve the problem

There should be an air bleed valve at the pump. If not check or loosen the filter top to get the air out then start the pump after tightening the failter.

Hi, W/D here.
It is not too likely that there is an air leak under ground. The piping is normally routed in a manner to keep the lines full. I would only suspect such a leak if I were losing water level at a faster than normal rate. It sounds like you've checked what I'd have checked, but here's a few more.

General start up: Make sure that you bleed air from the system when you start the equipment. Bleed air off of the discharge of the pump, and off of the filter.

1. At the circulation pump, there is a strainer that operates like your skimmer basket. Make sure that it is clean., and that the cap is on tight and sealing.
2. Make sure that your valving is in the right position on the suction and discharge lines. If your suction line is selectable (i.e., skimmer or bottom drain), make sure that it is in the desired position. If the suction at the skimmer is low, but the output at the recirculation nozzles is normal, this might be the problem.
3. Check for adequate flow at the discharge of the pump.
4. Check for proper pressure at the filter. Most filters are equipped with a gauge with indicators chowing normal pressure, and another indicator usually set 10 psi higher to indicate when the filter is becoming plugged.
5. If equipped with a heater, check your valving there as well.
Well, that's all that I can think of for now. Hope that this helped a bit!

WWas working just fine then hooked up vaccum and cleaned pool now the skimmer does not have any suction-- water blows out other side just fine and I have gotten all air out of lines--- any ideas

Depending on how much you vacuumed, your filter may just need to be cleaned. The filter on these units are not very big, so they can get dirty fast. Make sure it is cleaned out. Make sure skimmer basket is not clogged up, and make sure none of the flexible hoses are crimped. Also make sure there isn't anything stuck in the impeller. A stick, twig, or piece of toy, etc, can get stuck and cause low flow. Check for leaks between the suction side of the pump and the pool skimmer. One more think you might want to check is for leaks on the suction side while equipment is off. a leak here will let air into system and effect flow.

Cannot get pool pump to prime

turn the valve to main intake line (not the skimmer) and flood the pump with as much water as possible.
make sure there are no areas around the seals where air could get sucked in. when you get a full flow switch it to skimmer and main.

Could someone please confirm the order of operations for purging air out of the lines for a split system set up, using the refrigerant stored in the compressor. I have a 2 way 3/8" valve, and a 3 way 5/8"...

I think you really need a vacum pump, this will not only verify that you don`t have a leak, but will also
remove any moisture in the lines.

These companies that sell this stuff online, need to
remember that it is ilegal to purge refrigerant into the
air. If you hooked up a set of manifold guages, and
you seen the lowe sides pressure bouncing around
then you would know if you had air in the system.

You are better off trying to purge the lines with dry
nitorgen and then open up the compressor valves

The Intertherm AC Model B3BV-030K-A is blowing warm air

If you don’t see any frost on the suction line or big line on the furnace
(that goes from the furnace to the outdoor unit) and the filter and coil are clean then you are probably low on refrigerant.

Normal operating pressures

Normal operating pressures will change as the freezer reaches the selected temperatures on the inside. Normals of minus 14 degrees on the inside would be around minus 4 psi on the suction and 150 pis on discharge. Now checking the pressure will require a set of guages that have been purged with the same freon before connecting with the suction line on freezer. If not purged the suction line will draw outside air into the system and cause freezing of air and moisture inside the capillary tube rendering the freezer inoperative, Hope this helps, Sea Breeze
