SOURCE: Sears 19 hp twin 42 inch tractor, won't start if hot

Hi
Two things come to mind. First it could be not getting enough fuel when hot due to carb adjustment being too lean. That could be that the float level in the carb is set too low or the low speed jet is set too lean. When cold the choke circuit in the carb supplies the extra fuel required.
Second in some enjines that have low compression they start cold but when hot the compression drops below 60 psi and makes starting very difficult until engine cools down.
I suspect a fuel problem.

SOURCE: Vizio shuts itself off

There may be some components failing in the power supply or one of the circuit boards that are causing too high a current pull.

I realize that this answer is very vague. Without doing proper diagnostics, it is impossible to guess at something like this.

Out of warranty repairs on these sets can be very expensive. I would suggest that if the set is going to be expensive to service, it would be best to replace it with a known brand name that offers an extended warranty with local service. You will pay more, but you will have dependability and better quality.

=1995 volvo road tractor symptom [engine shuts down] code; active, engin e, intake, air, tmp, short,+v

I recently came across a similar situation in a isuzu that took some time to diagnose. What if eventually turned out to be one injector had an intermittent failure and it too out 2 other injectors and the engine shut down. If the vehicle sat for 1/2 hour it restarted and ran again for sometimes days before the fault again appeared. It was tracked down by running the truck on a chassis dyno under load and when the fault appeared each injector was disconnected until the faulty one was revealed. If these symptoms parallel yours I suggest you point the mechanic in that direction .

Windows keeps shutting down unexpectedly

Your computer is overheating, it is shutting itself down to prevent damage to the internal components.

Your computer should be serviced by a computer technician. He/she will clean the components and chassis of dust. This will increase airflow over the components, meaning your system will be stable and will not shut down unexpectedly.

Take care!

I have a HP Compaq DX2000MT computer. When I want to start up the pc, he gives 10 beeps and the following message : Chassis fan not functioning, check fan connections & call for service. Shutting...

Without the chassis fan the pc would overheat and fry so it's shut down. Do what the warning message says: open the case, clean the interior and check the wire connector of the fan. If the fan still doesn't turns then it has failed and it will have to be replaced - a new one costs$10 at every pc shop.
You will need the manuals for service and maintenance

Husqvarna tractor starts fine but when I let the pedal out to go the tractor shuts off immediatly. Whats going on?

It sounds like you may have a bad seat switch. There is an electrical switch under the seat that senses when there is weight on the seat, if no weight (or person) the switch keeps the tractor from moving. With the engine off, lift the seat and find the wires going to the switch. Pull the connector off the switch. Put a jumper (short piece of electrical wire about the same diameter as whats in there now) into the connector (one end in one side of the connector, one end in the other, make sure it touches the existing metal on the end of the tractor wires) Put the seat down (make sure that the jumper wire does not touch anything metal under the seat when you put it down) sit on the seat and start the engine. Try driving it. If it moves, the switch was bad. If not let me know.

When i engage the blades the tractor dies.the tractor is only a month old.

Do you have a service warranty?? If so I would call them and have them go through it. If not there is a switch under the seat that may be bad. It shuts the tractor down when the blades engage and there is noone on the seat. Check that and let me know..

Electrical sytem? inconsistently shuts car down

These engines have a sensor known as the Crankshaft position sensor, they are most of the time the part that causes these problems, it is located on the front of the engine, it gets it's signal from the crank pulley/harmonic balancer, if it goes open when hot the engine dies, when the sensor cools back down the eng will restart.
