The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product to solve this problem once and for all. It filters the water going into your dishwasher and removes the hard minerals that leave those spots. It is very affordable and even has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look with this product.

SOURCE: no hot water, plates cold and dirty and wet

If you've installed it recently make sure the hot water tap was plumbed in and not the cold water tap, check the hot water tap temp in the house to make sure it's getting warm, there also should be a heating element located inside of the dishwaher that heats up to help the dishes dry at the end of the wash cycle, which is controled by a thermostat. If the heating element or the thermostat are bad your dishes won't dry.

SOURCE: the dishes are coming out

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

Kenmore dishwasher is not washing properly and leaving dirty water in the bottom when it is finished, Can i fix it?

yes you can, what you want to do is right after you read my solution... rate it. :D but anyways wht you have to do is take out the filter underneath the bottom tray where the dishes go. and clean out all that yummy wet gross food from last week. it'll be all gunked up. that's stopping the dirty water from draining.

Dirty dishes

If you have a water softener, you should use about half the recommended amount of soap. Never use a wet or paste detergent. As mentioned before, this unit should be under warranty.

Dishes come ot just like I put them in

Check that both spray bars are turning. They can both be easily removed.

Once removed, make sure they are not clogged with stuff to prevent them from turning.

I assume you can hear water spraying around inside when it's washing, and that the dishes do get wet, and water does get hot.

Soap dispenser requires water hitting on it to open.

No water is coming out of the spout in the dishwasher

I am experiencing the same problem on my kenmore dishwasher (model: 665.1702). there appears to not be enough water spraying out of the washers as the soap is still in the dispenser at the end of the wash and the dishes are dirty. I've tried removing the bottom washer but can't figure out how to remove it. Did either of you find a resolution?

Dirty dishwasher

there is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. it actually filters the water going into your dishes. the dishes look dirty because your water has a lot of calcium and magnesium in it making them appear cloudy or dirty. the dishwasher filter reduces those minerals and my dishes look perfect now. no more dirty and grimy looking dishes. i also dont waste time washing them by hand before and after the dishwasher. hahaha you can get it at www.dishwasherfilter.com. use code DFMTEN and you will get 10% off. it fits right under your sink and is very affordable. you will be glad you bought this product. thanks
