How to tune in kindle to wi fi?

From the Home screen, press the Menu button.
Select Settings, and then select view next to Wi-Fi Settings.
In the list of detected networks, choose a network to connect to it.
If your Wi-Fi network and router support WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), your Kindle will detect it.
If you don't see your network in the list, you need to add the network manually.
If the network is protected by a password or WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), enter the password and then select Submit. If you don't know the Wi-Fi network password, contact the person who set up the Wi-Fi network. After you connect to a Wi-Fi network, your Kindle automatically connects to it again whenever that network is in range. If more than one network is in range, your Kindle automatically connects to the last network used.

How fixe

We may need more information in order to assist you.
What is the device type your attempting to connect to this wifi router? If by chance a laptop computer are you able to plug a Ethernet cable into the device and into port 1 on the router and access the default start up page. Most routers will use 192.168.1.1 as the default out of the box IP address. If so you can start the configuration of the wifi there and make sure the radio is enabled and set the SSID and passwords. Write them down. Some older laptops, and iPads for instance may not pick up 5ghz wireless signals so you need to enable 2.5 ghz.

Alfa awus036nhr hardware issue

Hello,
First of all, please let us know on which OS you are (Win. I suppose)
Second, we are going to try to remove possible issues one by one. I apologize in advance for what could seem a stupid question, but I have seen really really really bad things ...
Lastly, it's highly improbable that the card is slowly dying. It's either working or not.

1) OS ? and version.
1.1) Version of your driver
1.2) double check that you have the correct chipset. Copies and knock off of the Alfa cards are rampants on e-Bay
2) How low is your signal?
3) Are you on a 2.4 or 5 ghz signal (b/g/n?)
4) have you tried to remove the antenna and see if you still get a signal?
4) have you tried with a different antenna?
5) have you tried to change the USB?

Tips on how to connect my mobile to a wireless router in my room with a password

First of all your mobile should have Wi-Fi and support the encryption/security of your Wi-Fi access point.

If your Wi-Fi AP using WEP or WPA most of the Wi-Fi enabled handphones support it and the setup is quite straight forward.

I am giving generic guidelines as the model of your phone is not known.

Just do a wi-fi scan and create the new AP. When asked for the security select the appropriate (e.g. WEP or WAP) encryption and enter the key.

Close the app and start using it.

Hoe can i connect my ipone to wiifi on my belkin router

Wi-Fi settings determine whether iPhone uses local Wi-Fi networks to connect to the Internet.
Turn Wi-Fi on: Choose Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on.
Join a Wi-Fi network: Choose Wi-Fi, wait a moment as iPhone detects networks in range, then select a network. If necessary, enter a password and tap Join (networks that require a password appear with a lock icon).
Once you join a Wi-Fi network manually, iPhone automatically joins it whenever the network is in range. If more than one previously used network is in range, iPhone joins the one last used. When iPhone is joined to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi icon in the status bar at the top of the screen shows signal strength. The more bars you see, the stronger the signal. Set iPhone to ask if you want to join a new network: Choose Wi-Fi and turn "Ask to Join Networks" on or off. Join a closed Wi-Fi network: To join a Wi-Fi network that isn't shown in the list of scanned networks, choose Wi-Fi > Other, then enter the network name. If the network requires a password, tap Security, tap the type of security the network uses, and enter the password. You must already know the network name, password, and security type to connect to a closed network. Some Wi-Fi networks may require you to enter or adjust additional settings, such as a client ID or static IP address. You can type it manually by login onto the Belkin's network page using the browser and by copying the static and dynamic IP address.

Ipod wi fi conection

Wi-Fi Functionality
  1. Connects over the last Wi-Fi network you used that's available.
  2. If no Wi-Fi networks you've used are available, iPod touch will scan for Wi-Fi networks and show a list of Wi-Fi networks in range. Tap a network and, if necessary, enter the password to join. Networks that require a password show a lock icon (307189_1.jpg) next to them.
  3. Option to manually enter your Wi-Fi network name/SSID (if the Wi-Fi network is configured not to broadcast or be displayed to the public). If necessary, enter the password to join.
When iPod touch is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi icon (307189_2.jpg) in the status bar at the top of the screen shows connection strength. The more bars you see, the stronger the connection.
Wi-Fi Settings
  1. Turn Wi-Fi on or off.
Choose Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on or off.
  2. Set iPod touch to ask if you want to join a new Wi-Fi network.
When you are trying to access the Internet, by using Safari or YouTube for example, and you are not in range of a Wi-Fi network you have previously used, this option tells iPod touch to look for another network. iPod touch will display a list of all available Wi-Fi networks that you can choose from. Networks that require a password appear with a lock icon (307189_1.jpg).

If "Ask to Join Networks" is turned off, you must manually join a network to connect to the Internet when a previously used network is unavailable.

Choose Wi-Fi and turn "Ask to Join Networks" on or off. If you turn "Ask to Join Networks" off, you must join new networks manually.
  3. Join a Wi-Fi network manually.
Choose Wi-Fi, wait a moment as iPod touch detects networks in range, then choose a network. If necessary, enter a password and tap Join. Networks that require a password appear with a lock icon.
  4. Make iPod touch forget a network, so that the device doesn't join it automatically. Choose Wi-Fi and tap the arrow (307189_3.jpg) next to a network you've joined before. Then tap "Forget this Network."
  5. Connect to a closed Wi-Fi network (an available Wi-Fi network that isn't shown in the list of scanned networks).
Choose Wi-Fi, then tap Other and enter the network name. If the network requires a password, choose Security, tap the type of security the network uses, and enter the password. You must already know the network name, password, and security type to connect to a closed network. Some Wi-Fi networks may require you to enter or adjust additional settings, such as a client ID or static IP address. Ask the network administrator which settings to use.
  6. Adjust settings to connect to a Wi-Fi network
Choose Wi-Fi, then tap the arrow (307189_3.jpg) next to a network.
