Question about Bose L1 Speaker

Bose L1 System 1 Shut down during a show but the fuse is good. Nothing works, not even the lights.

Sorry to say that if you're sure that you have a good power source (cable and outlet), then if you've got no lights on the Power Stand, you'll need to talk to Bose L1® Support.

Look for bad filter capacitors in the power supply. There may be a fuse blown too.

My L1 Bose system on light switches to red immediately after turning shystem onon


There are no user serviceable parts on the L1® Compact (except that you can order replacement extensions). If the power light (normally blue) immediately turns red and stays that way, the Compact will have to be serviced by Bose.

A loud pop the lights flashed and quit working


If you reset the system (disconnect all cables including power for two minutes) and power it back on, and there are no lights or sound then there is nothing you can do to fix it. You'll need to talk to Bose L1® Support

Bose l1 crackle


Rotate the volume controls. Does this cause the crackle? Try working the controls through several turns up and down.
Also check that the lights on the top are not solid red. This would indicate that the inputs are clipping (the input signal is too strong) or the volume is turned up too high.

Set the trim levels so that lights are solid green with occasional flickers of red.

The RSX BOSE radio stopped working.


If you disconnect the bose radio, it loses it's programing.. Needs to be taken to a GM dealer and vin coded. as for the volume knob, it's digital.. if it's not working it wont be a connection issue, it's likely a flaw on the board. The best place to get that fixed is United radio in NY. 1-800-448-0944

Hi,

I had the same problem and Mark Burgess at http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/1/125990.htm helped me out, change the 4 capacitors in the lower board, lower left side and that will solve the issue.
